29 tbc gearing all classes gear sheet

Prot/FC pally should probably have its own build no? considering you can't spec into seal of command spec if you want pursuit of justice which gives 15% movement speed.

I feel like a FC set in TBC would look something like this, assuming your playing a Belf on horde, because if your serious about FC pally you will be belf. Also this would be running seal of command build.

Head: Frostreaver Crown (100 HP)
neck: Scouts medallion
shoulder: Sparkleshell mantle (16 stam, 100 Armor)
Back: Parachute cloak (12 Agi)
chest: raptor hunter tunic (6 stats)
bracer: Jimmied handcuffs (9 stam) or gallan cuffs (24 AP)
gloves: Razzeric's racing grips (35 heals + 12 SP)
belt: defilers AB belt
legs: phalanx leggings of the bear (40 stam + 12 Agi)
boots: Nat pagles ( 9 stam + minor speed)
rings: deadmans hand
rings: charged gear of stam or AGI
weapons: there should be 2 different weapons your swapping between at all times.
Windstorm hammer - mongoose
skullbreaker - 30 int
(i'm unsure of what the proc looks like on bleeding crescent it might be pretty good.)
shield: Marble buckler (18 stam)
shield 2: Vile protector (18 stam) for when you are doing damage with your windstorm hammer

I don't even think it's viable to even swap Corpsemaker w/ crusader when you are looking for kill potential. With the addition of mongoose in TBC it seems like the damage would be damn near close, if mongoose is up all the time.

A Lot of the times when im playing seal spec, I'm honestly looking for the 1v1's against people that's just how I personally FC. Depending on how much damage people do it might honestly be smarter to replace enchants with all Damage enchants instead of pumping heals and stam. It's going to be very interesting to see how the 29 meta turns out (if it's super bursty, or slow paced)

In regards to your guide, I'm not sure if I agree with alot of it. I definitely agree with some of it, Although it is a good base for getting started and somebody trying to find what pieces are best and what could work for them if they were new.

Also something to note, Alot of armor is being given up in my list, and it's honestly not worth it to give up that much armor but the stats you gain from it are juicy, I would run this set with your own risk and due diligence just be prepared to actually know how to fc, if you were to use this.

Mongoose won't be up all the time :( or anywhere close

oh damn, that's rough that, I would just stick to lifestealing at that point. I haven't really looked any other enchants that will be releasing when TBC comes out, I kinda wanted to play it as I go type deal.

Will look into adding prot/fc set. In general I haven't yet added any FC gear sets for any class (need to do the same for mage and druid).

What, specifically, don't you agree with in the guide? You say you don't agree with "a lot of it". Almost every single piece of gear you listed yourself is in the guide already. And like I said in the original post, the inherent order items are listed in doesn't necessarily mean X is better than Y - I'm just putting the options out there.

In regards to Mongoose: something to factor (for any class) is that the top-ends of Skullbreaker, Bleeding Crescent, Windstorm Hammer and Crescent of Forlorn Spirit are pretty lackluster. So you'll always be sacrificing quite a bit of top-end damage compared to Zealot Blade. Aside from that, Torturing Poker gets buffed in TBC so Rogues will have to factor if it's even worth playing non-daggers at all in this bracket.

Good effort man!

I personally don't agree with the heavy concentration / mp5 options for resto shaman, I think Eagle will still be too valuable as every class will get a damage buff, meaning stamina will be will be a necessity, meaning fights will last longer, meaning more intellect needed.

Each to their own though, just my opinion

You are probably right about that, think I need to rethick resto shaman/druid gearing

Do the Scryer and Aldor shoulder inscriptions, regulars or greater, work for thinks in TBC? Is there any alternative to Naxx shoulder enchants if you create a twink later and they are not available, or if you don't have the gold to get them on more than your main twink but want something for your others?

Great guide, thank you. I have been using it.

Wouldnt watchmans pauldrons be bis for rogues after change? 7 Ap as cutthroats, you just trade crit/armor/dodge of 3 agi for 4 stam. With ap enchant slightly better than cutthroats or forest tracker imo. Just wrighting because you list them with stam enchant especially.

Scryer/Aldor won't work.

Same here bringing it back would be helpful.

Does anyone know if unbound items can be enchanted with say +20 agility for weapons say like The Butcher or Zealot blade? The enchants on wowhead say they need to be put on items that "require level 35 item or higher item ". I've seen people in BGs with these enchants though. I tried having a soulbound Tigerstrike Mantle enchanted with +12 agility yesterday he said it wouldn't let him. The enchanter told me to get him one that hasn't been equipped can this be confirmed that this works or is this hogwash?

There are only a few items available to 29s in TBC that are ilvl 35 or higher. some that come to mind are Crescent of Forlorn Spirits, Raptor Hunter Tunic aaaaaaand parachute cloak? There's a couple maces too, if memory serves.

So, no, you're not going to be able to put +20 on a zealot blade, but you can put it on crescent in your offhand.

Stuff like that

(you'll have to forgive me for not being more complete about this. I'm not playing tbc classic, so Im working off original TBC twinking memory here lol)
