24 BM Hunters

Basic Keybinding setup - 1-5,q,e,r,f,t,g,v and all those again with shift at the start are applied to the above Action Bar? :L lols (and those are only my abilities, i have other keybinds for shit like Mounts, Buffs, etc...)
What i was suppose to say was that are BM hunters good between the three specs like for example BM>Surv>Marks? <--- thats what i was thinking.
Would you recommend BM or Surv?

BM is bis due to pet stun, exposive shot doesnt hit hard enuff for burst dmg.
regarding keybinds, im currently using over 14 macros for my hunter i.e Focus scatter, Focus spell interrupt, Roar, Roar on target, stop cast marcos, pet stun focus etc etc - for hunter macros Best Damn WoW Hunter Macro Collection on the Web.
Also id highly advise using pet follow/assit/moveto macros for smooth pet control.

noice noice, looks like i'll be making a Orc BM Hunter then, will have to read up on a few things, but should have it made and BiS within the next month... lol.

why would you do this? Growl is only melee range.

-.-, he would do this to avoid a stun or avoid pet when pet dmg is increased by that pet ability.

i dont think (iirc) taunt changes the target of the pet until the "stun" has happened depending on what macros you are using.

Are BM Hunters anygood atm? Thinking of rolling a Orc BM Hunter and stacking AP>Crit.
I tried all 3 specs. Even after the patch id still say BM is best, Aim shot is just too long of a cast imo. Is BM good? Its balanced. The problem is hybrids and healers like spriests, boomkins, ect are extremely op and take zero skill. To kill them you pretty much have to line everything up perfectly and they make a mistake.

BM will net you kills on lv 20 healers but nothing will help kill a lv 24 healer more then likely in 1v1. Obviously the best spec for CC reasons.
MM has the best burst and the aimed shot isn't to long (if you decide to haste stack)
SV has best substained dmg with nothing spectacular but all decent

aimed shot hits 360 crit with 50 focus - not viable when arcane shot crits 200.
SV isnt even worth talking about, go BM hit cap > stack crit.

Umm I'm purely talking about 20s atm as I haven't done any or seen any testing on 24s but SV can put out just as much dps as MM can. Aimed shots definitely crit WELL over 360. I get around 800 on clothies and like 400 on plate/mail as a trial so 24s that are MM should be able to do around 400 more on both.
BM is the worst spec dps wise but by far the best CC wise as normally a BM will always run with a pet that can CC as well while SV and MM have more choices.
Not trying to be rude but I've had a hunt well before you and I'm pretty sure I'm up to date with the MoP changes.

dont feel like your being rude, where all aloud to voice our opinions, BUT ive played wow for 6years and played 85 hunter in arena but w/e.
im expressing my opinion of CC hunter in the 20-24 bracket. im sure with the added power of being 24 kill command will hit harder plus added pet stun ( if macro'ed correctly) will aid in killing efc.
but at the end of the day its all theory crafting and personal play style

Don't forget that aimed shots and explosive shots will become stronger as lv 24 also tho
I wanted to take back what I said about being a hunt longer as I meant in this bracket but you already got me quoted so I'll leave it lol.
I guess what me and juno0 are trying to say iron that yes BM hunts are viable and still do well as well as the other specs now as well. It's not like cata where one spec has a clear advantage in everything. If you want CC then BM is definitely the best spec obviously but if you want dps I'd say MM and SV are alittle better

i had over 40 keybinds on my 85 hunter. without this razer naga shit, standard keyboard and mouse.
