2 questions about Faction Changing

Hello,

I am considering faction changing my Alliance 10 priest to Horde in order to get the ring (invoker's signet). My questions are:

1) If I have XP turned off when I change, will it still be off on Horde? I don't want to log in and ding because I discovered Orgrimmar.

2) Other than the ring, is there anything else I should pick up for when I go back Alliance? I don't think there is anymore gear, so I'm mostly referring to novelty items available to Horde only (things that will stay that way when I go back Alliance and not be converted to the Alliance equivalent). Gold is not an issue.

when i factioned my 14 rogue to horde, my xp stayed off
(this was 1 week ago)
 
XP stays off, but check before going to do the quest for safety :)

Also I do not know about any gear, but if you got honor tabards from alliance, you should equip them when you fchange, cause it will count towards the 25 tabards achivement :)

Also the normal tabards to farm rep? or am I wrong? Cus thats 6 extra tabards for the achievement
 
Normal Tabards too just make sure you dont have any tabards equiped when you faction change back it kinda glitched on me :(
 
Normal faction tabards convert too, just didnt know if you could get them at lvl 10.
And remember not to buy all 6 horde tabards like I did, if you have all the alliance faction tabards, and also the PvP ones, they will convert to horde tabards when you faction change, and you just have to equip every one of them :)
 
Wow, speedy responses, wasn't expecting any replies until tomorrow. Thanks for the info everybody!

Does anybody know if achievement progress gets wipes? For example, if I have 20 WSG wins, will that reset to 0 if I change?
 
No I got the 25 achiev on my lvl 19 pala :)
But not many tabards can be accuired at lvl 19 and not at lvl 10-14.

Seeing as other people fail to do stay on topic <.< imma answer.

No they do not.
Only achivements this might bug out, is quest achivements. Such as Durotar quests and overall quests done.
It will not interfeer with your PVP achivements.

Also, little bit of advice.
Get the Slayer's Band instead of Invoker's, the 3stamina will do you a lot more good, than the intellect. :)

~30 hp is worth more than 45 mana, 3 spell power, and 0.33% spell crit? Not trying to argue, just trying to understand. Fully buffed (not including a battle standard) I'm at about 1070 hp.
 
as a priest id say 3 int is > 3stam only because of the boost in mana and the ability to heal. if it was a mage or lock, id say 3 stam is > 3 int tho
