I woulden't put a shaman that almost never shears a channeled cast or always forgets to purj the strongest HoT in the bracket @ 9.5, just my $0.02

Idk mabye I just dont see it, but i feel like I should die a lot faster in those 1/2/3/ v 1s, and I keep 100% uptime on enveloping the entire time, eventually I get 1 shot. Not saying no shears = no dmg he still hurts, but Apnea, who you all seem to rate as a lesser shameng, can solo me in ~5-7 sec. Because he knows how to dispell my HoT as soon as it goes up, shear instantly, then he can get 3-5 free LBs in before I get chi for EM again. Just my $0.02
If were talking best skilled players I would take apnea > nicozy any day. Topping charts =/= skill folks
mabye nicozy just has really bad reaction speed + being EU + damageboarditis? idk

biggest joke 2014, i don't think Nicozy would bother shearing / purging pathetic healer like you anyways, he rather shear something in range like boomkin or mage 4 stacks because i don't see why he should overextend to kick you and probably die after just to make you happy.

Its hard to overextend and die if im in a 1v1 or 1v2 beside rhut or something and i cant go anywhere because if i stop healing I die. And in those 1v1s even when he does shear its usually at a god-awful time when my hot is still rolling and he dosent purj it because hes too busy trying to kill me... The only time he actually shears me is if im trying to cross mid during a gy camp for example, and its 5+ on me... Idk why

Son, listen, Nicozy is the best shaman that ever grace this bracket. As MW kitting an elemental shaman is super easy i don't think you have achieved something here like wtf, 2 rolls + 1 sprint and the LoS of the resto hut, i mean, i don't even know why you are still argueing. You were the guy who's proud of your 160 k heal or whatever the number in the screenshot thread saying "MW + Reactivity = pewpew" like seriously 160 k is close to the 150 k standard in EU for a MW. I'm pretty sure you are lying about the he didn't purge or shear at the right time.

Everyone knows that I am THE shaman to only care about scoreboards n flameshocking, I constantly sit mid and is not totaly known for being a utilitysemiGOD who is constantly around the gulch chasing or repicking flags while earthshocking for kills on cd.

I have gotten criticism about my game like everyone elses but never have I heard that. Infact I think one of my great strenghts is that I can make an impact outside the regular Mid Meta while still keeping up a healthy dmg presence on the scoreboard.
A lot of times there are 0 reasons to purge or shock a below average mistweaver due to the target he currently has OPHOTn1 on. Focus shearing Mages 4 stacks or Boomkin starsurge or interupting any other healer is better the absolute majority of times. Purgin the OPhot is usually a crapshoot and not even worth it as the target usually has a shield, rejuv and regrowth up at the same time.
I wish purge was more viable in the current WSG context however a lot of times it is purely rng and even if u get the OPhot on the first try, you have lost so much momentum to that point that it was not even worth it, especially in pug games where you cannot count on people taking advantage of your purge. This patch in particular is all about momentum and cooldown usage. Whatever 1v1s or 1v2s we ever had in WSG context I have no memory of, and even If I did I am not sure how relevant it really is, All I know is that we probably won the game if I am getting into 1v1s vs some healer that should be healing others.
Ontopic: The lists have been like usual. Varying degree to say the least, some have come close and some have just blatantly disregarded people. It is to be expected however, maybe I will present a list after getting some more games on US this patch. I know roughly the top 2/3 on every class however I would be unfair of me to leave out any new guys that I might have missed, also some classes have far more worthy mentions than others.

While I do appreciate the kind words, I don't think I'm better than Nicozy to be honest; I also don't think I'm better than Cannabis or Purj or Bam, or any of the other more established shaman players. (Dasfizzla's rating is also way lower than it should be on every one of those lists, he belongs at the top without a doubt.)
They're all pretty beast and experienced at shaman, and I've only played a bit over 100 WSG games and still have a lot to learn. I do think I'm a bit more resourceful than a lot of shamans though, in terms of providing as much utility to the team as I can (which in turn hurts my ability to climb to the top of the charts.) I'll off-heal a lot more often and am usually pretty aware of the team around me, and I purge and shear really well. I'll sometimes use my thunder punt offensively to interrupt a crucial heal or push overextended players out of range of their heals and into the range of our offense for a kill, or to push a crossing flag carrier back enough for our team to slow him instead of just trying to get away from melee trying to score a kill on me.
The example you gave about me chasing you down and killing you is a good example of trying to be more useful than chart-topping. I generally don't mongo out and chase players crossing mid for a kill but when I see a flag carrier monk breaking away from the pack, I know how ridiculous their movement speed is, and how they can turn that into a cap with relative ease while the rest of the team focuses on the gy or a mid brawl. Plus once a monk gets set up on defense with their healer setup, it gets pretty tough to push through and get a return.
Shamans are damage machines and can put up ridiculous numbers if that's mostly what the player is concerned about, but they're so much more valuable to the team than just doing 120k+ damage per game. It's the little things that I do like I mentioned above that go unnoticed I think and cause people to think less of me because I don't generally top the charts.
