19 fury warrior gear thread

In my opinion Stamina is undervalued in this discussion for fury. Since we heal ourselfs for 5% ( maybe even 6% if talented ) of our max hp everytime we bloodthrist (which cd is also affected by haste ), that is why I very much dislike glasscannon like weapons like
Executioner's Sword . Just a little something to think about.

Generally I agree with you - but weapons are a special spot. Executioner's sword is great for the 12 str, but it also has better weapon damage than any ilvl 23 weapon. So until you get a BG crate ilvl 25 weapon, its BiS mainhand no question. Offhand its great statwise, but you can opt for a more standard weapon with 6str/9haste/8-9 secondaries~.

If you're solo play (and not getting kited everywhere) - then stam/verse gives you a decent amount of survivability. Its one of the reasons why verse is so valued for most classes - its both offense and defense. Fresh Meat gives you even more healing from bloodthirst. Its probably good to also have a few "glass cannon" pieces for when you've got good/pocket heals - though they are few and far between for warriors. Theres a cloak with 6str/3haste. Executioner's Blade. Swapping trinkets for the haste/verse options. Theres not really much similar to mail/leather/int where you can take several pure primary stat greens. So even a full "glass cannon" warrior has stam on almost every piece.

I honestly dont know how anyone who plays 19s at even a semi competent level can argue that fury is anything but a novelty spec only good for chain killing non twinks with less then 1khp. Outside of that scenario its horrible, it hits like a wet noodle. The only competitive warrior spec at 19 is Arms speccd skullsplitter.

Also, anything but Crusader on weapons is just wrong...Ele force on a class with no dots swinging 3.6 speed weapons is dumb

Sounds like you need a better pocket healer

Has anyone played around with gale-force striking yet? 2 ppm with a 15 second duration seems pretty good on paper. Does it stack? Will that stack, stack with killing machine? Maybe I’ve had too much coffee...

Gale force is 15% attack speed rather than 15% haste. So you'd get more white hits, which would mean more rage with war machine. Its definitely inferior to crusader though.

I agree that crusader is the best enchant. Ele force is best when doing weapon swapping after crusader has procced, but its still good damage. Even with 3.6 speed weapons, you're attacking more than once every 6 seconds, so you still get full damage from it. The lack of dots just means it doesn't keep ticking after someone kites away.

I really disagree with the notion that fury is a novelty spec only good for killing levelers. Its certainly not a competitive wargame spec. But it can really deal some damage and is perfectly viable for pugs. It has good synergy with a pocket healer and slows from other classes - which let it really stick to a target and do work with crusader procs. Not everything is about the pure twink cup meta.

You can stack crusader procs why even bother with ele force just swap 5 weapons with crusader stop being noobs

why are u guys going so indepth for a trashcan spec
Yes, yes!! Everyone only play FotM classes! This website is only to discuss current OP classes/specs, so the guys who rarely offer anything helpful (if ever) to the community can not be forced to read topics (that they choose/click) that they don’t enjoy!

To put it simply, it's a waste of time.
If you'd like a more detailed explanation i'll give you one, but it should be obvious to most already but if it isnt obvious then reading this will be more helpful to you than anything you'll ever say on this site would be helpful to me.

The reason that going in-depth in trashcan specs bis lists or stat weights is fundamentally a waste of time and benefits nobody is that the only times bad specs will see play is in pugs, there's no reason to minmax in a setting where 60-80% of the population are fresh players with 6-7 slots missing and 1/3rd of your hp/dmg output, it's the equivalent of minmaxing your gear to kill level 5 wolves in elwynn.

Fury warriors have seen absolutely 0 play in competitive games where minmaxing and multiple sets are necessary, nobody has even thought of bringing one, so bis lists like this are helping nobody who need to be helped, bis lists for 'fotm' classes can at least be used in a competitive setting.

In my personal opinion nearly all bis lists are pointless as we're talking about 19s where viable options for any 1 slot can be narrowed down to 3 items max (per set's functionality) and if you can't look at 3 items and instantly recognise which is superior then you're not somebody worth listening to.

tl;dr - pug only bis lists are a waste of time.

I have had hela fun on fury but I tend to agree with lild on this one. fury is great against trash players but the moment you run into a skilled player you are shit.
