ive always maintained that haste is the stat of choice when making a feral druid since their main prblem is that their only really damaging attack is maul (and possibly swipe) thus haste would mean both better rage generation and mauls more often which swipe as a rage waster. TBH i havent actually tried this but it sounded like the most viable option when i got bored with a calculator.
Anywho, more on topic of the thread, a little bit of anecdotal evidence for you... Yesterday we had a BG 10vs5 in favor of the other side. their team comprised of 50/50 hunters and rogues whereas our team was 1 hunter, 1 rogue and 3 droods. 2 of us druids only joined the game when the Allys score was 2-0 yet we pulled it back and won the game
To those of you who say that druids cannot dps, oure mistaken, a druid if specced for wrathspam can deal a fair amount of damage with 1.5 sec guarenteed cast time to a dirt cheap 100-140 noncrit spell along with moonfire, whilst being able to off heal and self heal. the downside to this is that tbh druids have better uses and roots cant hold more than 1 wrath before it breaks, as well asthe fact that they have minimal burst. however they can deal a largish amount of dmg in a situation where they get to hide behind a load of rogues and wars.
To those of you who say they dont enjoy playing druids, thats fair enough but i really enjoy playing mine.
Edit: Even more on topic of the thread... compared to other classes druids make the best FCs, debatably the best healers (better than shammies and pallies anyway, imo) tho they get overtaken by shammies in dmg. Druids have slightly less ultility than shammies imo due to their lack of interupt and purge, however their CC is superior.
Edit2: conclusion; an average druid in WSG thats specced and glyphed for heals can viably heal and FC and CC well, a shaman can also do all these things effectively just not quite as well, however they also shut down healers (especially other droods), purge and dmg. Thus i conclude that shamans are better all round than druids
