115 or 119

I am leveling a frost DK right now for the purpose of twinking. I cant decide if I want to stay at 115 so I can still use legendaries, or if I want to go to 119 for the higher level gear and stats.

Thoughts? I guess scaling would play a factor as well. I know its harder to kill a 115 than a 119 on my max level character.

In 111-119 in ipvp the legendaries don’t work. So 119 or 110.

Edit - I'm not sure what gear looks like at 110, but even at 111 the BOE blue gear you can buy off the auction house is higher ilvl than quest gear at 115 barring any rare/epic quest procs.

In theory you could do all your BFA quests at 115 hunting for rare/epic procs I suppose, but if anything it'd only be for world PvP and I still think you'd lose too much secondaries and not gain enough primary stats to make up for it.

Edit again - actually, I think quests baseline at 115 give 224 gear, so even rare procs may not outdo the 233 ilvl BOEs... regardless I would not advise.

110 or 119 or ipvp
110 or 111 for wpvp

115 was thrown around as an idea since its the highest level where you have legendaries, but you lose the scaling of a 110/111 (who also have the legendaries). With scaling up to 119 in ipvp, you lose the leggos and any scaling advantages.

110 gets you the neck, azerite pieces, leggos, and a lot of quest gear. Mythic antorus can provide some gear (good trinkets, good relics make artifact weapon worthwhile). It sits in its own 110 pvp bracket, so its really good ipvp. 111 has the same ipvp problems as 115, but it does have better scaling and the crafted gear.

Most people seem to be doing 110 or 119.

What Necroaqua said, 110 or 119 for ipvp. My 110 is insanely strong compared to just about other toons( except a alliance hunter that made 1 bg really enjoyable since he too was a twink). Just the sheer power for 110s is insane and I don't even have that good of a neck. 306 with a 250 ilevel
