110-119 Discussion

As a 110 lock, I get fuck all for azerite from any pvp, at least.....it doesn't say that I do:

110 is a legion bracket which doesn't give azerite.

I get azerite from dungeons

How much does a boss give?

On US. first win of the day for a dungeon you get 100 azerite and ever other boss gives 15. Next wins give only 35.

Did you keep track of HKs? Which BG you were in? Scores? Wins/Losses? Could all be related to that.

Were all wins.
HKs etc. shouldn't have anything to do with the reward of the win. Was never the case.
(But maybe it is now, will make screenshots for myself to compare the results when I hit 119, 118 atm)

Did another bg, got 134 azerite this time.

One thing I figured out so far, when you are inside a battleground, the value of azerite in the tooltip goes up.
Even showed me a rare azerite gem for epic bgs with 214 power. (I was in a normal one though.)

Outside it still shows:
31 for normal bgs
181 for epic ones
11 for skirmish

Got 1 azerite armor from the rewards so far with pvp traits.

Kept an eye on the azerite reward all the time. It did increase with the victory points we gained.

When the bg was over i did not leave it, instead i looked at the rewards again:
normal 180
epic 360
skirmish 160

Maybe these are the max. numbers you can obtain, depending on performance?

But it started after gaining 200 ressources and went up the more ressources we had and at the end added a little bonus to it. 131 azerite this time.

Where are all the epic rewards from? (Or can you increase the chance for upgrade procs somehow?)

the epics are upgrades of quest rewards, I havent found a way to increase the chance of upgrading.
I have no idea how the 305 happend, but im happy for it
I did all quest in the horde zones and then faction changed and just finnished the alliance quests, so this is the gear Im stuck with

I can get 181% mastery with 2 wings traits and tradewinds. I love how we all have so much room to grow.

outstanding! i was using pieces to stack a heal on stun but having more fun with the crit/mastery procs. i never made a 101 so im not used to big secondary %’s. looking forward to maxing mastery to see how high those execution sentence crits go!!

make a 110 for 110 bgs. still waiting for more testing from other tinks about 111-119. top of the bracket has always been the way to go so if choosing 119 would a person have to hold off killing rares or questing so the rewards/drops scale properly at 119?

Dang, rip my toons. I may be able to salvage them, but I would have to faction change twice... not sure if I'm up for that. I do have a horde toon I could level.

Are you just at the mercy of lucking out? Part of what I've wanted to do is go for certain secondary stats over others, but you may not have that option if you only get a few upgrades and if those don't have the secondaries you want, then you're screwed.

if you are making a 119 you should do the quest to get your Heart of Azeroth and the introduction to bfa, once you get to Kul Tiras / Zandalar just level up through BGs and random dungeons

110s don't get AP from BGs. 110 BGs are considered legion content still. The best way to get AP is from islands. You unlock them at 116 for your account, possibly only faction, after doing 3 war campaign quests. 150 every 5ish minutes or 1800ish an hour

The chances of having all these procs at once is at best 1 in every 5 dungeons. So i don't expect to get that proc combo to happen to often. However its nice to see that 300% mastery might be possible in the near future.

Level to 111 in legion (quests give normal xp).
Do the heart quest line.
Pick herbalism / mining while running through the zones and kill rares (they only drop 273 items at 119), collect treasures to get 1x295 azerite armor). Do battlegrounds, archaeology, pet battles.
You can run dungeons too if you like it (the rewards are not good at 119, only 273).
And you can do as many quests as you want as long as they don't give you a non-azerite piece.

At 119 the quest rewards start at 281 / 286 (epic procs inc. the item level by 20, rare procs by 10).
So if you are lucky enough after doing all the quests you should have 3x300 azerite armor, 300+ heart and all other slots filled with 301-306 items.

Nerfed Azerite Traits In IPVP!
Does someone has a list of which are affected and which not?

Just realized that my 30sec Absorb Shield only absorbs 9100dmg instead of 18200dmg.
The absorb shield from avengers shield is not affected.
The strength proc from grand crusader is not.
The haste proc is not too.
