109 twinks and BfA gear

At what level can you use BfA gear? Is BfA gear available at 109? If so, what item level?

been having too much fun at 110 but im going to try and get into a dungeon group today. cant use random finder and even once in a group you cant be summoned. going to kill some silver elites and see if they drop anything besides grey trash and azerite which doesnt get used just wasted i assume.

For BFA gear you have to be 110 to get. I am getting Ilvl 210 items in normal dungeons.

I don’t think you can have 2 legendaries as 109. Unless it is the legendary from older expansions.

i never leveled the artifact weapon for resto so its 152 and an elite dropped a 192 polearm

all together about half the elites dropped a blue . weapons, trinkets and rings. oh my!

ok so at the silver elite world quest pig it took a while to tag on with all the horde but it dropped a piece of azunite gear, cursed boarhide helm
item level 280
235 intel
376 stam
azerite power stuffs
requires level 110

sad face but answers some questions i had about scaling here in the new zones.

took my 99 monk out there to see whats what. solod the shark in the harbor and couldn’t loot corpse. has anyone with a 101 tried this yet? if 192 is the lowest the gear goes and it doesnt scale lower........

Helped my friend's 99 Druid kill a rare and he couldn't loot anything either. Brought his 101 dk, and the trinket that dropped off the rare was item level 180.

From what I can tell, if the rare drops gear that your class can use, it is 100% drop rate. At least that's what it seemed like when I farmed rares on my 109 rogue. I was able to get 10 pieces of 192 gear so far.

soooo i was thinking “ive been killing the crap out of these elites. i must be getting close to some cheeve right?”
went looking to see how close i was and found out there’s a lot of elites. so many we’ll probably be able to collect different min/max sets

Have you noticed, if your alliance and you go to Zandalar all the mobs are 120 (they dont scale), and vice-versa, what are stupid system. Is there anyway to fix that, some of the elite rare drops on the opposite islands look nice but it's a pita when it's all 120.

iLvl 180 is supposed to be equivalent to iLvl 880 presquish.
