10 Resto Druid Is Like Fury With Heals

10 Resto druid is a blast. Can heal tank and dps, and Swipe does a ton of AOE damage. Intellect increases all damage including melee attacks. It feels a lot like a Fury warrior. Didn't go to 11 to get Swiftmend, just rejuv heal tops anybody off pretty quick. Only have the Amnesia neck with 3 gems for speed heal and haste. Haste seems to help speed energy regen a bit for more swipes. Went with Lifesteal on a 1 hander. Can solo anything pretty easily. Not as much burst as my sham, but the AOE is great.

Made a video of my last Strath run where I got Mind Controlled and killed my team lol...

Cool my 11 druid hits for 2k+ though with 1800 shreds. She also one shots my entire team while mc'd with swipe.

Yeah that banshee boss is quite infamous, watched some Julius Ceaser shit happening between 2 twinks, then I pulled a Brutus on one of them with a Chaos Bolt.

That looks interesting. For me, it's hard to pass up 13 as a druid. Prowl, Dreamwalk, Res (if you 5-box a whole team) and Feline Swiftness in any spec.

I haven't investigated this but I suspect there's a dungeon you can run by stealthing to the end and just killing the last boss while leaving everyone else at the entrance. You then Dreamwalk, Reset and go again. You seem to get the queueing bonus again when doing this, at least for TW (eg I know I got satchels doing this, maybe XP too?).

It was great on my lvl 10 firemage where I took the time to cast each fireball when killing my entire team while mc'd 4 fireballs 4 kills.

I geared up a little more with 5 pieces with sockets and am sitting at 139 intellect now and this druid has a bit higher dps than Fury now. Fury is 350 and the cat is 410 using no consumables. So resto seems to do more damage. I added Parjesh's Medalliion trinket to make sure I never die because the health is a little low compared to Fury. Also removed Lifesteal chant since it doesn't do much at all with a 1H and maybe it's just the druid since it doesn't really hit with the weapon. Went with Elemental Force.

Cool thing is I can be a caster and destroy. Starfire is AOE, or bear form swipe when energy is tapped on the cat. It hits about 60% of cat form swipe. Haste does help a lot with energy regen. Plus cat is really fast as I am at 32% speed plus the 10% boot chant + cat speed which is 30%. I have ran with a few Fury warriors and I was faster and we tied damage. But I was healing also.

When you run dungeons for gear you can just run past mobs and shadowmeld to lose aggro for more speed.

And I found out Prot is better than Ret. A lot more damage with 3 AOEs.
