Boomy is a solid choice. Personally, I also think BM is strong. Both have possibilities to cause damage while moving. Since 70% of your 1on1 matches take place against toons that have less HP and less power than you, you rarely run into problems. Matches with 2on1 and 3on1 can still be handled...
