Just curious here - can it be applied to BtA shoulders? ( would obviously not work untill level 55+, much like the gladiator one ) but as I recall they made it so you couldn't attach it a few patches back - with the enchant changed that would be pointless.

Soloed SM GY on my mage - as I was leveling him anyway I was hoping to catch a break and get the pants off the rare - unfortunately after the first rare spanwed it no more did ( nor their place holders ) - still I got a good 3 levels in ~2 hours while practising aoe grinding ;-)

yes - even at 29 it's better than the dreadmist. +6 vs 150 hp is a personal choice - effectively you are trading in 90 hp for 90 mana ( , some spi and some agi armor ) if your hit points arent in the 1shot region I'd go for +6 as a healer, as the extra mana is effectivly extra health

Dunno what you've been smoking. Enginering specialization has always required 200 engi and level 30 - the death ray 240 they removed the level 30 req on gnome engineering aparently ( havent verified this, nor am I inclined to do so )

Unless they nerfed it again I'd say that the death ray is fairly game breaking - average hits of 900-1500 with possible crits of 4k - before the zerker buff and flag debuffs oO good thing it can be interrupted edit: oh and since the deathray does not require engi to use you could get it...
