Something like this was the best lock spec at 49. It let you challenge melee with soul link, void walker and insta shadow bolts(backlash) while also being super good against casters through the same soul link, fel hunter and nether protection. Imp health funnel and healing throu spell dmg helps...

Price of Progress could be a good healing trinket but I don't know if healers run out of mana.

If you do decide you want that weap Chromie time to BC and specific q the dungeon for it. You might have to wait a while to get a group but a bunch of 20s like to run BC dungeons so sometimes you get a super fast run.

You can def get more mastery with more SoO gear but I think the gear I'm using gives the most all-round.

I was sure it did but as I just checked, I'm at 10% bonus move speed with either the boot enchant or helm gem so I do need to get a different meta gem. MM mastery also gives increased range which is super good. Increased range and damage on all hunter abilities is too good imo...

Do you know if/when a straight vers gem would give better survive/dps? EDIT: I also have a 30 leftover from when it was my 80 toon. I'm in the SL 39 chat community with the same name as here.
