Debate: Gloves of HM, Miners hat.

I made a thread about help with Ret Paladin Gear help, while I got a few helpful aids on gearing I got ALOT of mixed reviews. Saw some threads on here as well that some say those items are BIS, and some say they are not.

So question is. Are these BIS or not, if not why?

You could go Tiger or Bear or w/e you want. 9 / 10 +10 Nature Resist. There's also mail options that stack up nicely against Holy Might Gloves.

I'm pretty sure that on Expert Goldminer's Helmet the Equip: Increased Axes +7 is just 1h axes.
Wowhead seems to think so.

if someone has one equipped it should be easy to find out as all your weapon skills are listed for you.

Yeah, first of all it's very hard to get 10/10 Arachnids, and wanting specifically Bear or Tiger ofc makes it a pretty tough one. That being said even comparing the 10/10s to the Gauntlets I don't think it's worth it. Only argument to be made is that you value the Nature Resist alot, but if that's the case you're giving up almost 100 Armor and delicious AP for it. Items need to be really roided out to be worth dropping AC for, Ogronn's Sash is a great example. Mail glove options are already excellent, no need to downgrade.

Just to reiterate on Outofspace's point - I'm 40 Tutenkashs deep on my shaman and haven't seen a 10/10 bear, monkey, or tiger yet.
