I wish I had the original classic patch 1.12.1 numbers to compare the current ones with. You are right that the current ones are weaker than the ones listed in the archive. That said you can still achieve BiS even if it's a different BiS due to weaker item pool. I'm of course on the no changes...

It may not have been caught yet, but as a 3rd party tool if it's caught it will result in an immediate perma ban. If it becomes popular I can guarantee it will be detected. Do as you like with that information : )

Naw, even with bots you'd need to go to town might as well check AH while there. Besides I think all bots have been detectable for some time. Feels like it might be about the challenge.

Is this really true? Can anyone confirm based on very confident personal experience or some outside source that this is the way buffs worked back then : )? If that is how it was intended to work then it is working for at least some basic buffs like Fort and MotW. Thank you all for correcting me...

Ah so it worked in Cata too! Based on the video. And yes I'm sure it worked that way in vanilla. Originally Blizzard just did what would feel right for classes, warlocks had a way to kill their own party, people's buffs were as strong as they were. As time went on Blizzard started doing more...

Update: It sounds like the free for all buffs meta may not have actually existed in vanilla and everything is probably functioning as intended. People are telling me you could only use buffs a little bit higher level than your character, so low level characters back then could not have max rank...
