That was 2 weeks ago, and the staff members have since then decided on how we want to move forward with custom user titles, which will be announced sometime tomorrow.

We plan on releasing a way for members to change their own titles shortly, so we will unfortunately not grant these requests at this time.

Server costs was the primary culprit. They came back a while after shutting their doors, but they had to cut several features in order to keep costs down, and market notifications was unfortunately one of them. This was the update they posted on their website at the time:
