Even for a full crit rogue thornspike fails because of Crescent of Forlorn Spirits which comes with 8 crit rating as well as being BC enchantable. Failspike imo.

Actually, Outlaw Sabre has 15 AP. But from an Alliance perspective, yes, 12 AP is the max for a non-BoA weapon at 29.

Yes, Cruel Barb would be the easiest alternative and likely 3rd best choice for an AP rogue.

If your objective is to burst down your enemy within a few seconds, then yes, Thornspike would be a better choice than Vendetta just because you're nullifying all of the advantages Vendetta gives (faster cast pushback, poison application, etc.) Obviously a BoA dagger as an OH is the best...
