Actually after looking at it nearly every post fal makes on reckoning has 29s is dead in it. I might take my chances and ignore him because only an asshole would do that.

bah falaris is such a tool. He wants to recruit for 39's fine, but hes trying to do it but actively assaulting 29's and trying to take its players. I remember when i first fought him on cyclone and he hyped himself up on the forums as the best rogue. Dude was mediocre at best, at leaset 5 other rogues at that time were better than him. He quit 29's a while ago because he cant hack it, he needs to crutch on 39 rogue OP status.

It's kind of blatantly obvious that Fal is trying to stave off any attempt to help out 29s. He has legitimate reasons for doing this though.
A.) Fal plays his 39 rogue and enjoys it and would love for more people to join the 39 bracket for more queues.
B.) He dislikes many of the 29s that are active in the bracket and therefore has a certain spite towards the bracket.
C.) He did xfer over to the Rampage guild and found them to be incapable of premade performance, due to the fact that only a handful of people actually worked on their toons. Since I'm sure he favors premade action over pug action, I believe this would be another reason he would spite the 29 bracket.
D.) Fal doesn't like to be seen as being wrong, even if he does make a mistake.
The truth is that the 29 bracket is not completely dead. The games are actually quite fun, but too few. And any attempt to get more people into the bracket is hindered by Fal posting that the bracket is dead and 39s are the place to be.
And now there is an idiotic forum troll war going on that will probably either gain both sides nothing or will help out the 39 bracket which is what Fal is hoping for since the 39s indeed have a larger community than the 29s.
I think I'm going to just stop playing when my time runs out and wait to see how the brackets fair over the next few months.
tl; dr
29s are on life support
39s are stable
Fal is disrupting recruitment efforts for 29s
PS I don't really think Fal is a terrible guy. He's just a businessman, and his tactics work well and will most likely help out the 39 bracket... even if it deals the killing blow to the 29 bracket.
