26-28 drops lvl 28/i32 epic weapons. Level 29 drops lvl 31/i36, therefore 26-28 is the optimal level to farm for epic weapons for a 29 twink to use. This is all pinned in the 29s channel in the discord.

Lol no you're fine, all my characters are 16 at 5% or lower experience and I looted epics ranging from Krol Blade (51) to Hand of Edward the Odd (57). In fact, being level 16 with sub 25% experience allows you to kill the mobs even faster, yielding more loot. I highly recommend it.

Yeah the weapons would be required level 28 though at ilvl 32 for BoE world drops.

I can personally confirm that 60s will get lvl 31/i36 weapons. Yeah from what I can tell by what's listed on AHs it looks like weapon ilvl jumps from ilvl 32 (which would be farmed on a 27, possibly 26/28/29 but who knows) to ilvl 35 (grandfathered) and then ilvl 36 (which requires level 31).

Pretty sure lvl 30 toons loot 31/i36 weapons just to throw that out there.

Farming on a level 27 toon will yield level 27/ilvl 32 armor and level 28/ilvl 32 weapons. Not sure if that's the best under ilvl 35, you'd have to check on a level 28 or 29 toon to be 100% certain.

Level 11-15 toon will yield lvl 6/ilvl 13 armor and lvl 9/ilvl 15 weapons. That's the best you can get for greens afaik.

Not that I know of :(. All databases are going to suffer from data collection issues as Blizzard doesn't provide any information about drop rates themselves. Also Horde Farmer's Union is a beast farming community. Highly recommend.

Wowhead data is super unreliable as far as drop rates go. Normally BoE epics tend to fall in the 1/5,000-1/15,000 range, and from personal experience I can tell you that's what the drop rate seems to be for Legion epics. I'm almost certain the epics are still dropping for level 10s. I've seen...

Farming on a lvl 11-15 toon will yield you ilvl 15 weapons which are likely going to be the best available.

Are you f2p or vet? Were you in Chromie time or BFA timeline? Were you party sync'd in a group? I'm assuming you were level 20. Are you sure it was from an Anvilrage Taskmaster and not the elite flame elemental?
