EU+US Transmog Explanation

So after a lot of frustration questing for mogs I believe I have finially figured out what's up with the transmog system. Below I'll create the checklist I believe will help to find gear that can be mogged. This might be known but I have yet to see something like this for lower levels.

Obvious reasons gear cant be mogged at 29:

•can't have a level requirement on the gear over 29
•can't have a requirement on the gear you do not meet(profession, reputation, etc)
•if the item is class specific you must be the same class.

Less obvious reasons:

For all gear with no requirements it compares your average ILvL with the Ilvl of the gear. If you can equip and AVG Ilvl of 50, which is about the max a 29 can get you can mog most gear up to level 50 quests!

This should apply to any level, it appears that the game sources it's definition of the AVG Ilvl for either the current level bracket (10-19,20-29,etc) or just the specific AVG blizzard set for your level when no other requirements can be found. 29 is Ilvl 34. You can find out what Ilvl gear you can mog up to by checking your AVG in the wow armory.

For example on my rogue I have an equipable AVG Ilvl of ~50. I did a quest for a no requirement sword with an Ilvl of 174. I couldn't mog it and it said requires level 68, which I believe means the Ilvl of 174 is in the defined AVG of a level 68.

You guys can confirm this but hopefully it clears up confusion.

I think what most people are looking for is, you can't mog BoE's with a higher lvl requirement or in short term, quest items only. But I'm not too sure, as I'm looking for the same answer

i already tested you can mog any quest item as long as there is no rep requirement or any requirement at all

What do you mean "any requirement at all"? I tried doing some quests for weapon mogs on my max lvl toon and am still getting must reach lvl... messages. What kind of quest rewards are you able to use?

i messed up and said any lvl i mean any vanilla quests that are under lvl 58

or 60! I've already gone on a spree giving all my sword-wielding twinks argent avenger transmogs since I doubt blizz intended that to be moggable at low level haha

Something a bit weird il add is that I can't transmog blackened defias boots on my 19s for some reason, I'm guessing its because they share the same look as the level 20 boots from stockades so is somehow bugged. Can anyone help?
