EU+US Max HP?

New second wind! sounds fun, also think its really strong vs classes that dont have good healing :D Also how good is mending enchant?
Mending is all right its like 100-200 heal per tick and procs pretty often. I only use it cause i just wanted to max out healing. I think dancing steel would be a much better option if using this build for duels.
GOTTA GO FAST

Rolling around 42k, use a stam/str food, guru elixer for 10 stats and a scroll of fort for 12 stam since it counts as the guardian elixer. To bring me up to 44k Mixed in with a good chunk of avoidance gear and the auto dodger trinket since it lasts for 40 seconds and a few avoidance enchants including the old helm ones. Auto dodger is almost most required i would think at this point. Will probly change the str/stam gems to avoidance/stam or versatility when the patch goes through from what ive done test wise on the ptr.

On my list to replace
-Gurtoggs belt for more avoidance
-Possible boot upgrade with 2 sockets (unsure of choice yet)
-Possibly a weapon/neck change (kaelthas neck from verdant sphere quest would probly have been a solid option but i apparently did the quest a while back and Neck of the deep just seems so cheesy even though denying 44 stam would be crazy esp since all the hit/exp necks turned to dps stats so most tank necks minus kaels reward are going to have avoidance/haste/crit.)

I use to main tank for a full 70 pve raiding guild before mop/wod. I dont really pvp much anymore, still have my full resil holy trash in the bank that ill have to remake with raid gear since spirits going to vers if i pvp.

Actually looking to restart the old 70 guild from what ive seen/tested on PTR, the numbers of all classes is pretty fluid and pve is going to be fun. Honestly with all the vers/spirit changes if u aren't a healer you're going to probly get rolled in pvp. Ret does some dumb numbers too, bubble doesnt reduce damage dealt so you just execution sentance for 20-50k depending on crit and sit in a bubble.

Just remember you can't queue healer in 2s anymore in legion ):
Also when/if you get back into 70 raiding remember that ilvl plays a huge role when it comes to gearing. The optimal tank build for pve is to get as high ilvl as possible using swp tank pieces and then gem/enchant only ~35k hp buffed - and then get avoidance for the rest.
Health doesn't do anything except act as a buffer for high damage attacks. 35k will allow you to easily 2 man tank mother sharhaz without danger of getting oneshot. Any health above that is just wasted avoidance potential and annoying for your healers mana.

I have all the old BIS from sunwell/bt in my bank. I've had the character litterally since like wrath so i have pretty much everything. The set im currently wearing was a regear set i made for current expansion due to the gear stat normalization from kara-sunwell where all stats on gear are the same. So far from the testing ive done on ptr with that current gear it was fairly fluid anyway. Also reguarding health pool dont forget tank abilities that restore % missing health so more health is more healing also.

Stuff like auto dodger will probly still be amazing due to 40 sec duration for 4-5% dodge reguardless of ilvl.

Also have 2 sonic boosters in bank, which could be mixed in for ilvl/stam and then change gemming more for avoidance. However the item lvl hasn't really been a factor from the testing we have done on ptr.

But the ilvl from sunwell gear is more important than a few extra stats.
The point I was trying to get across is that your current gear is only really good for open world pve where ilvl doesn't matter.

Whats the ilvl hype about?
Every point of average ilvl that your character has above 115 gives you 1% damage reduction and 1,6% more damage. A BiS pve set on live is typically 170-175 ilvl but I think it's more like 150-160 on ptr. (since they removed bottled tornado as an item).

inb4 someone comes in here and tries to say that this isn't true.
