lmao suddenly everyone is a sweden expert. Where do you get your information from, Fox News?

The get from Sweden bashing threads. Just as many get their US information from US bashing thread. They are ill informed.

Sweden's recent problems literally permeate the internet. You don't even have to go looking for it. It finds you.
You don't think that is a bit over exaggerated? I have lived in Stockholm all my life and there are some rough neighbourhoods but there are no "no go zones" Like any other countries in the world there are areas dominated by a certain etnicity which makes it "less safe" to go there as a native swede. I can tell u even with the great influx of immigrants to sweden it isn't less safe than it was before.

We all live in our bubbles. During all my years in America, I never witnessed a violent crime, nor has anyone in my family. Barely ever even saw a gun out in public, maybe noticed one a year at most. Of course, some horrible things do happen, just like in any country.

Cool, but in contrast to americans most other people usually know what is going on in their country, even if it's outside of their "bubble"

Americans are aware too. Maybe they don't live in the ghetto, but people are aware of what sorts of things happen. That's a given. I'm not really sure I get what you're trying to say here, can you clarify a bit please?

I visit the "no go zones" quite a bit since I have to pass through there to get to school sometimes and I have also been in town at night time many times. This bubble you talk about is a bit vague idk I would have definitely noticed something if it was as bad as you say.

So are the 'no go' zones real then? If not, what areas are you referring to as 'no go' zones? What are the characteristics of these areas that make you refer to them in this way, even if only jokingly?

There are areas populated by mainly immigrants and "non swedish people" these areas are not as "safe" as any other neighbourhood. What im saying is that first there aren't even that many of these areas and they are not as bad as people say meaning u can walk through them without being robbed or whatever, its just "less safe" I used the term "no go" beacuse you did earlier.

That is reassuring to hear. I've heard Malmo is the scary place rather than Stockholm, does it have that reputation?

Hmm... Maybe sort of like in some of the largest cities in the U.S. but in not in not ALL of of the U.S. like some would lead some people of the world to believe.

It seemed like you were saying that Partygirl was living in his "bubble" and thus wouldn't know what actually was going on in Sweden.

Of course we have general ideas, but reading about it or watching the news are completely different things in comparison to experiencing it. I would venture a guess that most, if not all of us on this forum live in bubbles in regards to experiencing many of the things that go on in our countries. We know the information that is filtered to us.

My grandparents live in Malmö, once again only certain areas are like they are in Stockholm but not as bad as people think. If u live in the city its fine, mostly in the outskirts is where it could be scarier but I will say this again. No part in Sweden is worse than in any other country trust me. Every country has "slums" or "tougher neighbourhoods" just the fact that people make up Sweden as so much worse is just false.

I have no idea what you just said.
