America may not have started each World War, but it did its part to end them. Honestly, I doubt its participation in WWI changed much of anything due to the already fairly late stage of the war and Germany's deteriorating econonic situation, but it truly saved EU's asses in WW2, whether that be from the Nazis or the Soviets. Not only that, but I have doubts about the viability of a USA-less post-war NATO.
Regarding Sweden, sure certain areas of it are nice, but there are also more and more 'no-go' zones for normal Swedish citizens, ghetto-like areas that are advised as being unsafe. Not only this, but freedom of speech regarding this matter is dubious at best. Anyone who publicly questions these policies is shouted down as a racist. It is no paradise.
