US TC rules, for balance games.

Htag

Twinkunivers.com
When I look at the rules of the twink cup, which forbid Double proc and certain classes in double, I find that very good, for the balance of the event.

However, why to make all these rules of balance when some players of some teams have access to objects GFED and delights which gets statistics much higher that a normal twink (As the twinks of European players for example) while of a heal has an other one we can have 20-25 spell power of difference, and similar for casters. Why object GFED is not also forbid, so that we can see matches More balanced and be more attentive to the skill of players?

I wait for your notices, this is just a debate.

With some GF'd items its really important to maintain the idea of twinking, and reward people for putting serious effort into their characters. These things don't pose a serious threat to balance and are superseded by skill

There are a select few GF'd enchants that are super over powered we are intending to take another look at.

If you have a hard time understanding Htag than you just need to be a bit better at thinking, no reason to bring it up, obviously English isn't his first langue, Smh at the ignorance

You need to enter a french classroom during an english lesson to understand what's going on here xD

I mean rewarding people for buying accounts is cool and all but you either need to make the decision as to what's going to be banned now or never

It's understandable given that you're basically forcing the 19 players from EU regions to migrate here for the tournament and make new characters.

And before someone just says that's their fault, realize that you probably wouldn't have a tournament without their numbers. Especially for this upcoming tournament there are a LOT of EU players.

That being said, I don't think there's really that much of an advantage. The only thing I've seen that's seemed awesome are gf'd +13sp bracers enchants.

We weren't forced here, we chose to enter the tournament, and reroll on NA. We could just try and set up our own tournament.

There has been at least 1 succesfull TC without any EU involvment, and from what I've heard, a lot of teams are entering this year, so it could be done without EU players.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't someone just recently talk to a GM and found out that the TC will happen AFTER 7.0? If that's true then Enchants are moot, but GF'd gear will finally see it's day shine again since most of it is fairly high iLvL compared to the crap we have after the stat squish. Also, IB4 the flood of idiots wearing TBC Satchel gear to boost iLvL to gain the upper hand in PvP come Legion.

Outside of abusing the system, iLvL stacking may become the default standard, and it's quite easy to get a fairly high iLvL using hilarious vendor items and world drops. The only issue is that from what I remember for every 1 average iLvL higher you are than your Level's static value (defined by Blizzard), you will only gain 0.1% benefit, so even having an average 10 iLvL higher than others in the Category would then in theory only gain you a 1% advantage, certainly not game breaking.

1. There isn't much that took a lot of effort to get
I can say for certain that Wingblade took serious effort to obtain. The later parts of that very long quest chain were not soloable or even duoable at 10 (yes I realize when you open your mouth it's ONLY about 19's but the point is valid). I'm sure there were a few items from back in Vanilla > WotLK that were available to 19's that weren't easy to get as well. As for GF'd Enchants including Arcanums, that was just luck of the draw, nobody could've known what Enchants were going to be GF'd and not properly stat squished several xpacs down the line.

Almost positive he's referring to items that matter.

It was Devm who said that, so I would take it with a grain of salt

Ah you may be right, ofc come 7.0 when ONLY iLvL matters and that 1H has the highest iLvL of anything a Level 10 can use, then it kinda matters. Also I clearly stated that I was sure there were items for 19's that were also hard to get back from Vanilla > WotLK, but go ahead and continue the 10 bashing even while we're contributing to the conversation.

no offence but 10 isnt relevant to twink cup (what this convo is about)

No offense but Dagamela decided to snipe a tiny portion of my post, the rest is absolutely relevant to the TC. If indeed 7.0 drops before the TC then ANY discussion about Rules for Enchants is moot, but discussions about GF'd gear, since it's in almost every instance a higher iLvL, is certainly a topic to consider. Especially since there are so many Players who have Satchel gear that I bet they just can't wait to equip with new PvP iLvL scaling.
