Need Some Help (Brewmaster Monk)

Hi guys,

I'm considering to make a Monk as my next 29 twink class (plis no hate)––and it seems that Brewmaster is the dominant spec currently. I've seen a lot of different builds and was wondering if any of y'all could link me to guides/profiles for an ideal BM Monk (race/gear/enchants/etc.).

Thanks!

http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f40/20-29s-armory-list-69966/ check out the armory list, some geared brews there. don't really need a guide to play it since it's such a faceroll class, not really much to it

recommend you play WW if you want any respect
I did check it out, but it seemed like the two on there had different things (e.g. rings/weapons) & they're both Horde (I play Alliance).
I guess I'll just ask: what do y'all think is the best race to go & BiS weapons? Thank you for the quick response. :)

Yeah come on man don't play brew

Thoughts on best race/BiS weapons for a Brewmaster Monk?

Horde » BELF or Tauren
Alliance » Human

I would only go panda if I we're playing WW due to palm into FoF
Assuming 90% of this bracket trinket palm and u got full duration FoF

As for weapons its up to you if you wanna rock two Shadowfangs or two heirloom weapons.

I'd personally go with shadowfangs. See my monk armory in my signature for inspiration to how to play male belf BM :

Tyvm for the helpful advice. :)

Even in 29 there are weak BM's and strong ones. They are rather powerful generally so by weak It's their playstyle, who they choose to attack, choice of attack, slow reaction to using the haze etc. Some BM's despite the power I don't feel much threat from where as others if you've faced them before you know what's coming :3

Night Elf is the best class you can go as alliance
Maybe panda if you are playing WW but even then night elf racial is too damn good

Why would one insist on playing BM when other perfectly fine options are available?
Besides, WW > BM by far for premade 2v2/3v3 unless you're facing 20's ofc, but I think that's what you're after.
Rolling over f2p's as hard as you can with drool running down your chin.

Brewmaster monks are considered a bain to the game right now becaue they are too good. That being said if you want to play one nobody can stop you.

I have what I believe to be a close to BIS BM monk with this toon Neverfotm @ Bleeding Hollow - Community - World of Warcraft This is a bit of a glass cannon build, however your bubble's absorption rate i based on your armor and agility, while you will have low HP you will have a huge bubble on you as well. The real key pieces are the neck gloves and legs, all give a bonus to armor which gives a huge boost to your bubble. The rest provides a bonus to your attack power either directly or through agility, both give you the killing force as well as a smaller bonus to your bubble.

The big problem with that toon is the rings, Get Charged gear of agility or power, both provide the same amount of attack power which is what you are after.

For weapons dual Shadowfang's will be your most damage, and increase your agility the most which in turn will increase your bubble the most.

For Race that is a little tricky for Alliance. I think Night Elf is is a good option for Shadow Meld, although you may not be as helpful on Monk as other races, you want to be in the fight generating chi to replenish your bubble. Still it could be good for posting up before the EFC gets to you for a sneak attack. Human can be good for the extra trinket slot, Having a free slot for a touch of the void of AGM is always welcome. And an argument could be made for panda for the food buff and the stun.

Guys, please stop posting irreverent spam here. I'm looking for advice, not an Express Your Butthurtedness Towards Monks seminar lmao. I realize their class power, no need to rant (at least not here plis).

Most people seem to think that BM is > WW by far. Thoughts?

I'm not too sure that I'll really use Shadow Meld, so I'm thinking to go Human. Is there any reason not to do the two heirloom weapons? I've seen some 29s using it.
