A change in 'bracketmaster' and the long term future of the 39 bracket.

Better to not grief at all, shunning specific classes and doing whatever you can to keep players who roll them from having fun in bg's isn't a good way to make new players want to get into 39's.

What? Playing a BM/Feral is essentially griefing. What is going to attract more new players is a bracket where they wont get 1-shot or where they don't have to play against hero classes.

Are you really convinced 1-2 people's fun is more important than 18-19 people's?

I'm convinced we shouldn't be those people to ruin other's fun so we can have ours... not sure that 18 - 19 is accurate anyways, I don't have nearly as many problems with feral or brew in a BG situation as most people here do and I doubt it's a game ruining experience for everyone as you suggest. I'll admit that it's rough trying to keep healers alive when there's a feral and a brew in the midst, but there's other classes that can pull off far more than either in most team fight situations. I'm not arguing that feral / brew isn't OP, just that we shouldn't be trying to change what people play in random BG's by acting so cutthroat because some butthurt people have a preference to play without them.

I can agree that it's not as fun when there's a surplus of fotm on a certain team, but that's twinking in a nutshell. The whole point of turning experience off and spending thousands of gold on a character is to try and totally wreck everyone else, the whole idea is built around griefing other people in a sense and trying to get the biggest advantage. If you're going to play random bg's expecting to be the top dog and win every game you're going to have to do what you can to put yourself and your team ahead of the other guys. I've seen games with 2 + brews, hunters, discs, rogues on the other team and we still win because of better teamwork and playing... but if you want to play games with rules on no ferals etc. then war-games are the best way to go.

We aren't intruding on their fun. They past the 20-29 bracket where there are overwhelming amounts of people with the same view as "fun." to come to 39 and play those things is essentially trolling. The bracket was revived because the other brackets have the same mentality that you have. The majority don't want silly/broken mechanics in our games. Why bring down the quality of games 39s provides to have some "fun" when they could do the same in 20-29? Ferals hit the same buttons @ 29 and Bms hit the same buttons @ 29.

This was BC twinking mentality when there were 2-4 twinks on ea side being heroes for their faction. Wrath XP off BGs were so balanced that one player couldn't just wreck everyone or ruin the game. That was in the past. We are in WoD where blizzard gave a group of 5th graders a school project to balance their game. The "lol i rekt u" mentality is not welcome in 39s. We are an older crowd looking for some balanced game where skill comes into play. BM/Feral mechanics just don/t fit in to the reason why the bracket was revived.

There's been multiple suggestions for people to not support feral's specifically because of their class and going out of their way to hunt them down in bg's and farm them. Pretty sure if I was on the other end of that stick, whether as a feral or anything else, I'd be having significantly less fun.

Here's analogy. Morality/rules aside. A 200lb MMA fighter wants to only fight 145lb unwilling fighters because it is what he considers "fun." You are saying that he should be allowed to do this?

lets do the ethical thing and have geno or some ti thugs shoot down the bm/ferals via IP

As a feral, I realized that they are actually quite OP. I'm glad to respec.

These brewmasters have other twinks they can play. No excuse to let them keep playing a broken spec

It's not really up to us whether or not they play feral, we can only try to persuade them not to... If you're so against feral being in your bg's then set up war-game bg's where you don't allow them on either team and be done with it, otherwise don't expect not to see people playing different class / specs in bgs.

So don't give them a 2nd chance to respec/reroll and just exclude them from games all together in wargames?

If you want to run war-games between guilds like in other brackets where scores are recorded on a page within the TwinkInfo forum, then I'd expect there would be some rules. Obviously this bracket isn't populated enough to maintain random BG's AND war-games so there's going to have to be work done before that happens, but cutting off anyone from playing classes and going out of your way to make it unhappy for them when you're trying to help a bracket grow isn't a good first step in my opinion. It's not about not giving them a second chance, just about balancing the playing field when you want to have more professional games rather than random bg's with PuG's. Why do you want to work so hard to remove MORE players from random BG's when the queue's don't even pop regularly in the first place?

But I think removing Guard will kill the spec.

I play my monk a decent amount and I don't use Guard on it ever, BM monks are still completely fine you just can't play like a complete mongo like guard allows you to do
