• Us that play f2p do not enjoy playing with a or vs vets. We want a separate section here. If you could consider even making a separate sub forum for us that would be great. Seeing all this vet stuff mixed with ours can be crazy. I'm not sure if you have made a decision yet but that mod that claims to know the history of the bracket will likely give a biased opinion rather than the actual feelings of the people in the bracket. We could maybe even have a vote rather than 1 person or mod deciding things by telling you to only listen to them rather than the rest of the people on the forum.

Other threads locked so its kind of a up in the air thing and I wanted to know your opinion or decision on it. Not sure if the other thread was able to be unlocked or not.

I thought this was about the new TI member named Lizard Squad...which btw myrm, you should keep yours eyes on

as for Trialmop: We had this discussion months ago to decide, even the option you state now was a consideration. Unfortunately it was not a popular vote. I know you might be frustrated that you werent here to state your opinion form the start, but I doubt it will make a difference. The best thing to do is to leave things the way they are

Yeah well idk ill just wait and see on the decision. Wasn't sure how things would go but I would like F2Ps voice to be heard. If the decision is not in our favor
but to those of the Vets and Vets who play f2p also then that is what it is. Im gussing we will get our answer shortly , I clearly don't know as much as yall do about the former decision that caused for the joining of the forum . I trust either way the right decision will be made though Vets in the 20-29 section could work as well as it does here if not better.

Well, Myrm created the other thread to ask for opinions, so I'm sure he'll give it some consideration and weigh all points of view. :)

I personally don't think the thread absolutely needed to be locked, since the discussion was rather civil. It's not unhealthy to look at issues again after a while, since new opinions and insights can always pop up. Still, I think a lot of positions have already been presented, so it should already be a fine base for a decision.

Trust that Kin is a really decent guy and will represent the consensus from a few months (?) back and his personal assessment, and Myrm will be able to make an informed decision based on that and the thread. :)

I don't care much either way. ^^

I actually don't really think the relative peacefulness is due to the forum organization, I'd say it has more to do with lack of activity and friction.

I think it will stay peaceful during periods of inactivity and/or happiness with site leadership, and might become a bit more rowdy if activity picks up. From what I've seen so far I think that happiness with site leadership will generally be pretty high from now on. :)

Im sure others know but this is the difference between other users and YDE, that was stated perfectly and after I sat a lil big I calmed down and realized Myrm would probably not look over the thread and that kincaide wouldn't just count us totally out since he use to be very active in f2p.

Yde was one of the best Adim/Mods I have ever seen. many told me Yde was just as cool ingame as well PROPS!

well ofc its not vet vs f2p poll. we know theres more vets right, cuz most f2p quit or had to join vets.

but if there atleast 20+ ppl that want f2psection then i think it would be worth making it, shit theres other forums here with 0ppl but still have their fórum.

Haha, thank you for your kind words! :) I am out of likes to give, sadly. And it would probably look rather self-absorbed to like a compliment! But it is nice of you to say so!

All the best,
Yde

I think that may be why Myrm did not include a poll, he may have been looking for well-reasoned arguments and not a majority vote. Let us wait and see. :)

I honestly wouldn't care for a section of our own. But I'm not sure if your opinions represent the f2p as a whole. I'm not familiar with many f2p that are experienced who hate vets. And most vets are former dedicated f2p twinks. Sure we had to pay a little for our advantages, but many of us are willing to build restricted sets for fair play in organized games, without abilities of a 29.

Most vets don't have other sets or just refuse use them. They enchant their real gear or near all of it and end up missing events ive seen it happened so much, but hey this isn't a argument thread so Cheers and HEY ECOPAL did nice games vs u and lockqt yall were rogue/ret :D

People who don't want to hang out with vets were just one part of the group reasoning for a split into subforums. I personally like people from all brackets, segregating by account type is pretty silly to me. For me it's more about the information relevant to an account type, and I find the current tags nice but insufficient, as you can either tag account type OR region, and many people don't bother, so it's difficult to use as a filter.

People who play both and are interested in both probably don't notice this, since all content is equally relevant, and that is why I think in the end it's probably going to stay as it is. ^^

Subforums would definitely not stop anyone from discussing F2P restricted events in one place and vet events in the other, just provide a bit of sorting.

I think that sort of consolidation of information is all around practical, and could even eventually result in an activity boost for F2P events as Activate suggested. :)

.
i adore how they make decision about trials based on opinions of those who farming them.

Lol wow you were bringing the heat with that one. I will be a little disappointed if we stay together but I know some of the vets(SOME) are able to blend in and help both communities out.

Most of the F2Ps wanted to split this bracket 20s+vets. Into 2 subforums. If you see it in a perspective, it is not a veteran's decision to take.

Why ? Lets suppose you are in real life, and you want to end up the relationship. You want to do that, but your Girlfriend doesn't want to. It is your decision to make, not hers.

So, what i would do is just take opinions from F2P twinks. Because they are the ones that mostly want to split up.

No offense to Veterans, i respect you guys. But this is the way i see it.

I have no problem with keeping it as it is or even separating it.

It's not you it's me.

There's another bracket.

We can still be Battletag friends, though.

I just don't think I'm ready for a serious premade.
