q pop killing?

Scope

Grandfathered
I've notice a large amounts of ally twinks on bh starting wargames within a group of friends, i want to say i understand. Pugs are shit. Wargames bring more fun, but if everytime u get rolled on ally u start premades ur just going to kill pops for others, ive been q''ing ally a lot more lately when sr starts q'ing.

to get straight to the point. PLEASE STOP WARGAME DURING PUG TIME, HORDE TWINKS DONT GET ANY POPS AND YOU'RE ONLY KILLING THE BRACKET.

thank you.

Even being one of those who have wargamed during peak hour I gotta agree with this. Would be a shame seeing pugs die.

I think part of the issue being that there's really no group besides HARVEST to give Skill Ratio a competitive game. Pug comps are just too random. People get tired of getting teamed up with random rogue bads on ally, and switch to the winning side, only compounding the problem. I don't think this problem is going to get better until we get some sort of pug-made activity with voice chat.

We started using the new Curse Voice client when we were doing wargames, and it looks promising. It's a lot like Skype, but it claims to not give up IPs like Skype, and it's geared towards gamers. It also syncs with your battle.net friends list, so it's real easy to set up groups. I'd suggest everybody get it downloaded, so we can group up with communication and a decent comp to give SR some competition. Otherwise, we're just going to end up with a bunch of three cap games, which probably isn't very fun for either side, and leads to people stop queueing for the night.

Also, signing up in the twink networking thread would probably expedite the whole coordination thing, we should probably get on there so we can see who's queueing and team up.

Totally agree, queues have seemed really long as of late. Definitely want to see the bracket thriving.

Ok, here we go....

You are wrong on many different levels, the accusations that you have made are small minded.

Regardless of activity or not, our guild as a whole does not get much opportunity to play together let alone as a team. I would have to say that our team is most diverse when it comes to where we are located in the world. Half of our team are from EU therefor to get a premade match up with a time that is good for them is nearly impossible. As a team we are forced to schedule matches early on otherwise we wont be able to practice/play together. We to date have only had the opportunity to play one session of premade matches as a team in preparation for the twink cup [not even with whole team]

In no way are these games being matched up to the silly ideals that you have stated in your post.

This doesn't just go for my team but for the majority of other teams for many reasons. Like it or not sacrifices will be made in relation to the tournament, in light of this we will be scheduling more premade matches as we near towards the twink cup for further practice together as a team.

Well said this program is a lot better than Skype and I suggest everyone in the bracket should switch to cursevoice

Just use ventrilo. If you can't find a free one( I have info for one). Buy one, think of it as investment for that TC prize.
PuGing is what some people only have time to do. ie: some do. It have 4-5 hours a day to sit and play WoW. We have other hobbies/commitments.
Sit aside a scheduled day/days specific for Wargames instead of having them made up on the spot for TC practice. After all there is only a few weeks left.

Wargames on Alliance lead to games like this haha. Took this SS last week when Alli tried to get wargames going for a few hours.

The percentage of rogues queueing is a good part of the reason why people turn to wargames.

But 19's are "competitive" I thought.

19's and rogues go hand and hand. That is just the way it is. The way it will be.
That is why I started rolling heals only. To break the cycle of rogues/hunters only in 19's.

problem is, from the outside standpoint newcomers that see 19's usually see the iconic twink rogue. with that in mind it blatantly shows the reason we have such an increase atm. easy to gear, hits hard and you can stealth around. no rogues should be funded IMO.

i mean, thats a total of 10 rogues in one WSG on that SS.

Pugs aren't shit because of wargames. Pugs are shit because of the class imbalances of the 19 bracket. Wargames are way better because you don't run into 5 warriors 5 druids 5 rogues 5 healers etc etc. The structuring that wargames offer will always be more lucrative than simple pugs.

You just want instant gratification like the eu swine with their welfare tinks

There were actually 8 rogues in that game, one left and a warrior joined.

There are 10. Seven on one side and three on another. 5 healers is not too much for 20 players, ideally it should be 6 heals(3 and 3).
WSG is old and stale. We do have another option.
The issue with wargames is they take too long to organize. You have to get into Skype(DDoSer heaven). You have to have all 20 people ready at the same moment. Invariably someone is in the bathroom or taking a smoke break or getting a drink or letting their dog out. Or they D/C. Or anything. It is like herding cats.
Not everyone has time for that bull. Some of us like to log on. Type "H", enter queue, done. Rinse repeat a couple times and log out. That is it, we do not have 4-8 hours each and every day to sit and play WoW. If you do, great. Good for you.

/cheers
