the results are clear on what is the most popular choice. does this even need further discussion?

Round 1 voting got a little over 100 votes. I'm going to leave this up until the end of the week or we get at least as many votes. There isn't any harm in leaving the discussion open, if you don't want to read it don't click on it.

im just waiting for people to stop saying "you should post this in the 20-29 section instead of f2p". oh well. good things take time. carry on then

Need I remind you that all of this mess was started in the trial forum from a discussion with the trials not be happy with guides in " their" section concerning items they could not obtain.

I still say the only way to settle this is with a f2p vs p2p bg to determine the fate of the bracket.

Also, I'd have picked more then one option on the poll if possible.

F2P vs P2P

There would need to be a Battle Royale. Since some factions want to separate the players further. According to some, supposedly there are more than two sides to this debate. Although, I have only seen two sides speak their opinions on the matter. Strange, isn't it?
I can't even understand why the trial section made an uproar about it in the first place. It never bothered me that veteran guides were in the trial section. It just made for more informative reading on the competition as far as I am concerned. I still read guides on DPS classes even though I have no interest in playing one. If only to see what that are doing and to see what their strategies are versus my class.

Not really. Like any poll a lot depends on what questions are asked, how they are phrased, and who is analyzing the data.

I see 4 choices that begin with 'One forum for whole 20-29 bracket' and currently 34 (of 79) people have voted for some variation of that.

To me that would be like asking what is the best dessert: ice cream or cake, but the choices are several different flavors of ice cream and just cake and then declaring cake is clearly the superior and preferred dessert.

Edit: by the way, this is in no way meant to be a criticism of Kincaide or the polls he has put up. Just an observation.

Here's an update for everyone. I've talked to Shane and he is interested in implementing a number of organizational changes to the site as a whole over this coming weekend, so he wants to have the results of this poll on Friday. As a few of you have rightly mentioned, it's not just about the sheer numbers, but how we analyze the data. For example we have to look at the names of who voted what, so that we can get a good idea of which community wants what, and analyze why people voted the way they did.

For that reason I want to have the poll close at about this time on Friday, giving Friday night for the staff to interpret the results so that Shane can make the needed changes over the weekend. If you haven't voted yet or want to tell your colleagues to vote, please get it done within the next 48 hours. Thanks.

what is this? keep the forums as they are lol no need to create a discussion with a thing which has no problem

Prove that historical fact and name at least 17 examples...

All right... I will cite a few from my experience. Just so not to bore you all I just give you the synopsis.

A a prominent university recently did a study of their Fraternities and conducted interviews of it's current and pat members. When asked if they had done anything with their Fraternity that they had not would have not if they not been with another organization the overwhelmying response was " I did it because I was with my Frat brothers."

Even in the animal kingdom there have been extensive studies. That is when that swarm theory comes into play.

Many rioters have exhibited herding behavior as well as soccer hooligans. I can probably cite 20 specific examples from those two alone. Not including those crazy people on Black Friday.

This subject has been studied to a wide degree throughout the animal kingdom.

Do I get a prize now?

Veterans are returning p2p players, blizzard implemented this system for p2p players without active account while here on TI it gets pulled to f2p and claimed by f2p. This is a bad thing overall and shouldn't even be discussed with a poll.

It is clear there is a new form of twinking and I voted for convinience but I sure as hell do vote for seperating everything into its own section if I could give it another go.

Polling has ended and results have been analyzed and sent to Shane.
