So quick clarification, say I have 100 gold. I spend 50. Does that mean the max I can now have is 50 gold, or is it 100 still?

The cap does not change, it's still 10. You have just exceeded it and they aren't going to delete your gold.

So if you had 100 and you run out of time you have 100 to spend and use. You can not generate anymore. So if you spend 50 you still have 50. If you spend that last 50 you can start generating gold again. You just won't get anything past 10.
 
The xp off infos are just theories ; when you have a character on the ptr, it is just a copy of a character, i don't think it keep any info about your status being sub or f2p.

If you copy your f2p toon on the ptr, can you level past 20?

US got the patch, they've tried it
 
Any chance f2ps will be able to use f2p addon again? No f2p I talked to is able to use it, but all p2ps are ok

The addon recognized you as p2p, so you have to change the settings. Atleast what I read in another thread
 
Hi guys, I wanted to know do enchants on heirlooms stay on when you put them in the loom tab for your alts to use it? For example, I got Flamescarred Draconian Deflector on my blood elf and I applied Enchant Shield-Minor Stamina onto it, then put into the loom tab, would my human paladin have the same shield with that enchant on it? And would it also work even with a xmog on it? :)

I don't see how people can test the veteran account 19s after sub ended already? People say that the exp lock doesn't work after locking during the period of paid play, but how can you test this now? 100% sure the subscription runs out at the end of the paid time aka in a month? Bit confused how people can say its not going to work already? Sorry if that's not clear:p
Edit~ how silly of me, old accounts now with vet status have tried it.. Sorry for wasting time :p

No you can't "check heirlooms back in" The tab just generates them and puts them in your bag. You could mail it to your Paladin, possibly, but not as a pure F2P.
 
ok so uh, can we upgrade our f2p accounts, enchant them etc, and then let sub run out and still be 20 or wat

People that had old paid accounts that played 19s have logged in. Their XP was locked when they stopped playing. They logged in now without a current subscription and XP is turned back on.

It looks like the act of converting a paid account to a lapsed veteran account turns on XP.

Yep, tried mailing one and still no go. It's funny, I am pretty sure I originally purchased mine as ally

Edit: just went ahead and bought ally one from PvP vendor in SW.

You already tested it and this was stated as the only difference between starter and veteran status restrictions.

My level 1 worgen has maxed herb and mining at 150 but it has a locked sign saying max cap reached for starter account.
