Educational WSG 10v10 Premade [Week 3]

Bop

Remember the Treeline
  • Hello all!

I would like to start by thanking each and everyone of you who has competed in the 10v10's so far. You all have been very patient while Albino and I have worked to iron out all of the kinks in getting these games to run smoothly.

That being said, the goal of each of these premades is to be quick to organize, fun, and also helpful to newer players. Albino and I believe that the first week of our 10v10s was much closer to this goal than the second week. One of the major differences was that neither Albino nor myself competed in the second week. Going forward, I think it would be best if each side of the premade had a vocal organizer and strategy caller.

Originally we had hoped to have the population to fill the 10v10 without ourselves necessarily needing to compete. But going forward, either Albino, myself, or someone else experienced in leading premades will be playing on each side.

With that out of the way, I would like to open up the floor for all sign-ups. The premade will take place at the same time as the previous ones - Saturday at 8 PM EST. (January 17th, 2015).

I will update the rosters with people who have signed up by Friday 8 PM EST (January 16th, 2015).

If you could please PM me your skype information on TI if you have never competed in one of these 10v10's before. That would be awesome!

Thanks for making these events possible through your continued participation,

    ~Bop of Mok'nathal~

If your toon's name does not have a link to battle.net, it was because I was unable to find it. If you wish for your toon to be linked, please PM me or reply to this post with the battle.net link.

If all of you could respond to the new roster by either liking this post or replying to it, that would be appreciated.

I would like to come, as Kincaide (arms warrior) if possible, or as Littletiger (Brewmaster monk) if that's better for balance. Both are Alliance.

    :Kappa:qt - Holy Paladin @ Thorium Brotherhood - Horde *
Kaigé - Disc Priest @ Aerie Peak - Horde
Esteé - Resto Shaman @ Aerie Peak - Horde

Flynne - Holy Paladin @ Nazgrel - Alliance

I can play some dps classes as well if needed but I probably won't be able to communicate

I think it would help Bop out if you guys be sure to give your own preference of which character you'd like to bring. I've been in situations where I tried to organize things (BC-era 40-man raids) where people were like "oh I'll bring whatever" and that actually makes planning harder! :) Don't be afraid to state a preference.

bend on ally rogue again . maybe this time ill be able to talk in Skype :p

sttutter - holy paladin - ng - ally
jibbed - arms warrior - ds - ally
streetnoodle - resto druid - ap -ally

    Still?

In the last premade-thread several people pointed out that you should give Mumble a shot because it's the hands down better alternative, and you're still going to use Skype again?

People paid good money, I spent a lot of time designing the channel around premades, and after half a year not a single fucking premade game has been held there. Get out of your damn comfort zone and give Mumble a chance for god's sake.

Thanks to bop and albino for organising this. What do you think about a shared spreadsheet where everyone can sign in. This way we all can have a quick glance to see who is signed up and for what. I think that is easier than to scroll through a thread. And everyone can quickly adjust their class choice according to supply and demand.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1z04I7Bd9HtEKFnZf0LHKHaNl9UCNng--StfEqyDoaX4/edit?usp=sharing

This seems like a very smart idea! Can anyone think of any reason not to use this?
