In prep for WoD

The sellers of these toons are also risking that when WoD comes the toons could be worth a lot more than they are currently are being speculated at.

we are all also at risk of having a flaming midget fly through the air with a machete and an eyepatch, land ontop of your face and cut your left pinky off. Doesnt mean it's likely to happen

Wait, what 29 community? If I had noticed any actually active 29s, I would've been recruiting them to Molten. Did I miss something, or was that a joke? "Quiet" hardly seems like the way to describe an active bracket.

Ive done wargames with Luplis this past week... So the bracket isnt "dead"... maybe thats just cuz im on US though.

This, i've seen no one whatsoever leveling their 24 to 29. Rerolling a few, but not leveling with that intention, while I do believe there is a high chance of the change happening, it is still foolish to level now, due to the amount of time that can still be spent on the character in the 20-24 bracket.

Goodness knows that people certainly wouldn't want to miss a SECOND of the TOP NOTCH games available @ 20-24.

Don't let the past experiences of what grandfathering has done to toon's values throw you off.... It already has happened in the past, yet you still find it 'unlikely', clearly you aren't an individual who lets a pesky little thing like EXPERIENCE guide your decisions. I'm sure in Vanilla you would have told me that I would never get offered over $500 for a 19 with a Sergeant title, and you would have been wrong, again.

Being completely ignorant of the events of the past does not preclude them from reoccurring.

Sooo, what exactly would change to make the current 29 gf'd items more viable than the present? because right now most of the gf'd items wouldn't be used. Come 20-29 brackets scaling at most levels would make nearly every gf'd item obsolete. Through EXPERIENCE tho, what could happen?

Close enough. Molten's still getting WSGs every week, though it hasn't been every day this month, probably because we've been so focused on growing 39s that some of the 29s have felt left out, or maybe they're busy with midterms or something. /shrug

Experience tells me you will continue to be cropped.

Patently false. Skullbreaker, Nail Spitter, Zealot's Robes and DMH aren't getting trumped by scaling.

I was a 29 from retail.

Other than the proc effect, DMH will be trumped, Zealot's will be a close call for alot of the lower level scaling cloth chest peices. And if u did read my post i did say "nearly all" not "all". Your patently not reading the posts all the way through.

Yes DMH is BIS because of the proc. That proc doesn't break on damage. It's truly shines on a Frost mage because it gives you two free ice lances on a frozen target.

Zealot's won't be close. Don't kid yourself. No mention of NS or SB, I guess you learned your place.

We will make you 24s bow to your new 29 overlords.

Sounds like you should be recruited to Holy Crit, your mentality seems to be the same. I expected more out of someone who has played 29s this whole time :(

Experience tells me you have the mentality of a lvl 20 crop who thinks that scaling will make up for less abilities and no glyphs, and that scaling will keep up with superior gf'd gear.

Well i hope thats what you think, since its the point i've been trying to get across... aside from glyphs, which could be a gamechanger for many specs. Of course you can stop at 25, get glyphs and still have your gear scale 4 ilvs. Recently blizzard has been trying hard to "balance" low level pvp, and if they are increasing the bracket sizes to 10 levels, while reducing the pure quantity of spells all classes have, it is likely the amount of spells missed from lv 25-29 will be negligible for some classes (as it is now). Other classes may still lose some very core abilities, even though i think blizzard is trying to give core abilities and passives at a more consolidated rate in WOD.

Call me a visionary but I think blizzard might be adjusting a lot of things that will be beneficial for twinks in the coming years, i haven't seen WoW and twinks like it is now since BC and at the moment 24s is better in some regards. I'm actually looking forward to this Xpac for no reason other than twinks, Garrisons will be huge.
