Unfortunately this doesn't apply to everyone, but if you were around in 2008 during the Olympics event and obtained the Competitor's Tabard achievement, then you can get the tabard on your new twinks! Go to either Garyl for Horde or Rebbeca Laughlin for Alliance and pick it up. Pretty sure this is a bug so grab it while you can.

been like this for a couple of months, and if Im right, there is also a blue post somewhere about it that they wouldn't fix this

It's nice for your new twinks, but also takes away some of the prestige from your chars that have been twinked since 2008

Interesting, it is unlocked for me for all characters old and new on horde side only

I did not have an ally in 2008, hence I cannot get it from the vendor on any ally character

People take note of this before you faction transfer your twinks !!

It's obtainable by allys with their original tabard on horde aswell, try talk to the Ironforge tabard vendor.

The SW vendor never sold it, even for players that originally had it on ally.

Competitor's tabard is my level 10's preferred tabard when defending Westfall against the pesky alliance invaders.

you can't buy it unless you have the fos, alliance with the fos can get it in IF.

Fos is only a part of this but is not what he meant.

Anyway i got the same thing due to faction changing. Even if you have the Fos there is a possibility you can't get the tabbard. It also depends if you picked it up back in the days. If you only did horde then you are not able to get it on alliance even you have the fos and vica versa which is the problem here.

Mine got messed up with faction changing and not able to pick it up on alliance but just ask a gm they will give it like 90% of the time anyway if you have the fos.
