I'm not sure where this self righteous holier than thou bullshit has come from, but it's completely pointless. Nearly every thread is full of it, and we certainly don't need more of it.

Anyway, my final post. I remember why I stopped posting here. My bad for thinking things may have changed.

It's not unreasonable for the OP to ask a thread to be locked because it's going off topic. Everyone causing drama for drama's sake is just trolling, which is also against forum rules.

Hang on, I'm sorry, but... the purpose of the mods is to enforce the site's rules, not to remove posts that you don't personally agree with. Furthermore it's kind of silly to post about a highly controversial topic and then expect--much less demand--that there be no dialogue about it.

Well this thread has been derailed quite a bit, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for it to be locked since there isn't much being discussed that's really construcive. Kale has never been an unreasonable guy imo and I think I agree with him on this. People are arguing and let's be honest, if this thread stays open it's simply going to turn into an onslaught of diatribes and insults which will then eventually just get the tread locked.
