This guy stayed up here for the entire bg, which resulted in draw. What's the point of it?

If you don't know how to do the jump, stand on the edge of the "bridge" that does upwards (or however you want to discpribe it) right infront of you. Stand on the edge to your left in the picture. Face the ledge he is standing on and jump. You should now be on the ledge and able to kill him. Congratz.

How exactly is this an exploit..? It literally takes one jump and every ranged class can still hit them while having 0 los.. I actually got mad when ally FCers used to use that spot cause it's basically pointless.. There's plenty of exploits (moreso near horde side) that can be annoying but that isn't one of them. No idea how that could result in a draw tbh..

There is a horde base version as well. Saw an alliance druid take the flag there and sit with it the entire game. for no reason other than to troll i guess.

Edit... that jump isn't new, and you can still hit that player at least. The one im talking about near the horde base is on the ramp leading too the roof, you can wall jump up from the dirt too the big wall that's part of the base.

Has anyone even been up there? Last time I checked there is an invisible wall at a certain point where they are out of los... from where they are standing no.. you can't hit that player. Let's have lots of attitude over something we're wrong about

You can hit them. Just follow em up there.

If you need help figuring it out I would start by searching google with keywords along the lines of Warsong Gulch 5.3.0 Flag Carrier Exploit...

Just follow them up there make sure you know every little inch of where you need to step, have pursuit of justice, and growth potion

For people who haven't seen the video and haven't watched the efc run up there and don't practice it and don't know it exists I'm sure its difficult when you just run into an invisible wall

My post was mainly referring to the people claiming that they could hit efc from where they were standing or even on the other side of the invisible wall on the ledge.. they are wrong

No. It's still an easy jump.

Not sure why anyone is mad about this. I mean yes it is an exploit -imo- blizzard should fix their buggy maps. So put it a ticket and hope they fix it. I understand why some players don't want to see stuff like this fixed, because "parkour" adds an extra layer of depth to pvp. I still think stuff like this needs fixing though.

Actually there's a very similar "jump" in the horde base too, in the same spot, where there's the huge saw, but only a druid in cat form with Feline Swiftness can get up there... i saw it a few months ago but i don't know if that was fixed...

i dont know why ppl waste time to improve such jumps instead of learn how to play, hiz is just a perfect example :)

That jump is not "easy" and not all races can do it.
Indeed everyone can get up on the ledge, but only certain races such as female humans can get all the way in which also makes you LOS everyone else.
I was in a BG against him on my tauren and it was impossible to get in there..

^this
I could not go in there as a tauren FE, not even in cat form.
And no, you could not attack him in any way, unless you were standing where he stood. I have never seen this exploit before. (it counts as an expoit if you are not supposed to be able to get there, so your "hurr durr it iz soper ez to get up ther 'n therfore not n expoit hurr" logic goes straight into the trashcan.)
I guess i'll watch a video on how to do this soooper ez jamp since it IS being used, and hope that taurens are actually able to get there.
