What is the best dagger at 19 for stacking AP?

Wanted to see what the community thought regarding assassination spec rogues at 19. What 2 daggers would do the most dmg? And only looking at dmg not best stats just most dmg. Given that would it be:
A- Goblin Screwdrivers x 2?
B- Assassin's Blade x 2?
C- Resilience dagger x 2?
D- Tail Spike x 2?
E- Boa crit daggers x 2?
F- A mix? If so what?

Also wanted to know with mutilate does the weapon speed matter?

Reason why I ask is using dual resilience boa daggers gives me 1-2 dps higher, but if I were to use assassjn's blade and goblin dagger I lose like 2 dps but gain quite a bit of AP so wasn't sure how to base it off the AP or the DPS it states?

Any info would be appreciated.

look at speed/top end/ap and calculate weapon damage then use logic to decide?

If the dmg is scaled the the wep speed wouldn't dual talons be BIS? And why the boa since the goblin has more agi?

I don't feel like an offhand talon would be best. It is so valuable in mainhand because of slightly larger ambushes as well as the full MH damage on mutilate.

I have heard several times that a talon MH is BIS but I don't see how. According to the tooltips in WoW, Ambush does 470% weapon damage plus 242. Nowhere in the tooltip is weapon speed mentioned. Looking at a talon in game it shows a top end damage of 29, as opposed to the Wowhead stat of 30. That would make the top end of a non-crit ambush with a talon somewhere around 378. in comparison the pvp daggers top end is 35.10. making the ambush non-cirt top end 406.97

Crits will have similar results, Mutilate is still based off weapon damage similarly with no mention of weapon speed.

In addition to the fairly rudimentary math I ran recount in a game with a assassination rogue using a talon and a assassin's blade while I was using the PVP BOA main hand and a scouts blade off-hand. Not looking at the overall damage or DPS which is situational depending on the fights, I looked at the individual abilities and compared the damage of each. Other than the weapons we were wearing the exact same gear to make the test more fair.

In each instance my BOA dagger and scouts blade hit harder than the talon of vultros and assassin's blade combo.

Every rogue guide you read is constantly mentioning slow main hand weapons based on the assumption that the main hand weapon will have a higher top end thus more damage. that doesn't happen in this case.

.

You know, those are BASE damage. Talon is 2.0 speed, so it gains top-end from AP quicker than a 1.8 speed dagger. The 29 and 35 are just base damage, not factoring in any of a rogue's attack power.

Of course there is going to be no mention of weapon speed, it has nothing to do with ambush. It only has to do with the damage range you see in your character window. The slower a weapon is, the faster it gains top-end (and bottom-end, for that matter).

I honestly use dual scarlet kris. The resil is nice, the damage is high enough anyways... I have 2v1d 2 warrior FCs (with stacks) and a hpally on D in 2 premades so far this year as Assassination. It's my backup horde rogue which doesn't even have Tunic of Westfall. Use what you feel comfortable using and whatever get's the job done! Either way I can promise you that Eviscerates 900-1100 hit hard enough after 2 ambush crits for 800 :p

(obv in a premade there's no reason to go nightstalker)

Best of luck mate and do report your findings here!
