im not even sure blizzard has a clue that they have screwed up hit scaling. hasnt been mentioned anywhere.

There aren't that many boomies that know what they're doing. I assume we're excluding rejuv spamming boomies with less than 1.5k hp
make an ele sham. Running lightning bolt. Hit is still broken? Dranei racial+eyepatch+possible boa shield having similar stats to stockades shield (there are other viable options)+boots and gloves with spirit/int/stam+10 hit trinket+elder satchel cloak+satchel belt with spirit if it's still needed.
How much hit is that?

do you know how much the of damage is based on spell power? i want to roll ele but im not sure if i should stack stam/int or crit for funs

no... Marz is right, there arent THAT many boomies, sure they arent uncommon but the bracket isnt exploding with them...
ot: destro is a great dps, does consistent damage and definitely has the highest burst out of any caster

And I've tried stacking hit almost to cap, and the SP and crit loss is just too much, though it is possible, esp. if alliance. Running LB will be nice, but I think take a lot of the challenge out of the spec. Also the speculative "stealth buff" that might go through.

I can almost guaruntee ele sham will never be a fotm. Lightning bolt on the go will be nice since we lost earthbind. Ive got my swiftness pots ready, beware my high speed and mediocre damage!

I never meant they are the most overplayed class but it seems like every druid is either resto or Bdruid. There are definitely more Bdruids in this bracket then there are locks of all specs so that's what I meant
