F2P Bloodsail Admiral Event! #2

Hey EU F2P Twinkers :)


As you know by now F2P's are able to create Death Knights on their trial accounts. This opens alot achievements wich you couldn't have done on your level 20. This thread is not about all those achievements wich Felix allready posted in another thread (http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f43/achievements-made-possible-dks-42979/) but just about the Bloodsail Admiral Title.

I have a few F2P friends who wanted this achievement and I wanted to do it myself for my trial account, so I'm giving the EU F2P community the chance to join us and get this title.


When: No date set
Time: No time set
Where: The Burning Steppes EU
Faction: Horde
(Ps. You will need F2Paddon for this)

Things you have to do wich I'm not going to help with:
  • leveling your DK through the starting area
  • doing the pre quests in Stranglethorn Vale before the reputation grind (mentioned below)

Things I will help with:
  • grinding the reputation ( you can also do this on your own)
  • fly you to the quest wich you need to finalize the achievement (not able to get on the ship without a 2 seater)



Quests you have to do in STV:








When you finished these quests you are phased and ready to get the reputation for your Bloodsail Admiral title. The grind is simply killing mobs in Booty Bay to gain rep when you put yourself at war with Booty Bay. When you reach the Friendly status with The Bloodsail Buccaneers you are able to pick up Avast Ye, Scallywag - Quest - World of Warcraft and Avast Ye, Admiral! - Quest - World of Warcraft to earn Avast Ye, Admiral! (you need a 2 seat flyer to get these quests).


For the people who don't know how to make a DK:
  1. Select the Italien Server group
  2. Select the Nemesis realm
  3. Create your DK, log in and out (don't delete the DK)
  4. Create another DK on any server you want (for this event The Burning Steppes Horde)
  5. Don't log out (or you have to start from the beginning)

What's the estimated time for this?
 
Does F2P DK even work on EU? I thought the bug was just with one server available to US players.

I'm not certain, i helped a friend yday just with the grind partly and we got the rep in no time while i was boosting. On his own he went slow and did about 700 rep p/hr. Quests can be done in 2-2 1/2 hrs or so from the dk starting area to the last booty quest. I guess 3-4 hrs for all but im not certain.

Does F2P DK even work on EU? I thought the bug was just with one server available to US players.

Do you seriously believe it is a bug if its doable in EU and US, both just 1 server and not getting fixed with the last patch? dont you think if it was a bug it would have been only in the US or EU like it was with the high level satchel gear? I think its just a thing to get trials interested in buying wow haha. Good marketing stunt ^^

It's not meant to be done. If you can get out of the DK starting area at level 55, instead of the unavoidable level 58, then it is an exploit.

An exploit available for free to play achievements, there's nothing toxic about it

It's an exploit, 100%. But it doesn't promote any toxic behavior, nor is it unfair in pvp. So it's not a negative exploit.

Just live and let live if it doesn't impact anyone else's enjoyment of the game. :)
