Bottled Tornado, useful in WSG?

    • So I stumbled over a guide to rares in MoP: Glorious! - Rare Elites of Pandaria - Guides - Wowhead
    And in the guide, there is a list over all the drops of the rare mobs in Pandaria.

    Between fun items like Magic Banana and Ai-Li's Symirror, I found one item that might be useful in especially WSG: Bottled Tornado. These seem to work like the X-52 Rocket Helmet only this is useable, and obtainable (I think), at any lvl.

    I figured, though this can only be used outdoor, it could be very useful in WSG; depending on how high you jump, you might be able to jump from the field, over fence and land on ramps, or just from field to top tun. I read some comments and this guy have tested it, and says that together with the jump you ove slightly backwards, wich means it actually works like a normal, incredibly high, jump backwards.

    "ok i did some testing with this. the slight backwards movement is awesome and will probably be fixed soon. i tried areas in battlegrounds and you can get to unreachable areas. i play horde and i used it to jump up onto the roof area you cant normally get too. (after some walking i got ontop of the big watermill near the horde ramp), and yeah. looots of places u can get to with it, especially if you chain it. demo warlocks can jump and while in air do demonic leap to do a straight leap in the air THEN use it to get extra height too."


    So my question is; have anyone tried to get this for their twink? Or have anyone tried it out themselves?

     
    Useful: Yes, there is no doubt that can give a significant advantage over another player. Especially when trying to flag carry, just imagine getting to the top of the tunnel from the entrance by using that trinket. Imagine all of the other possibilities it can provide for you and your team from a FCing stand point. With that being said, its extremely over powered, you could literally terrain exploit to unreachable places by other players.
     
    Yes, this could be abused by FC's to get on for instance the watermill, as the guy from Wowhead posted. Blizzard should make it unusable in BG's... Still a cool item that could be gamebreaking.

    I knew about it but didn't post anything cause i haven't gotten it on a toon.

    Supposedly you can sort of fudge the phasing right there.

    Wowhead says a drop chance around 20% so it shouldn't be too hard to get, but no, I don't know anyone with this item. And tbh I'm not quiet sure I would use it in BG's if I even had i..
     
    Well the mob is technically in the edge of a quest phased area, but you can see it from the unphased part, so its possible you could get a twink close enough to get loot.
     
    Well I havn't lvled in pandaria yet, but it would be sad if it is only obtainable by lvl 85+'s

    Edit: read some comments on the mob that drops the trinket Kal'tik the Blight, and it appears that other have faced the phasing problem aswel, but a handful of them have succeeded in killing him between the to phasing areas, that supposedly should be near him, without having done any quests.

    I have it on my rogue, i can use it when a fruid FC uses wildcharge to get back ToT quickly. Hardly useful to a rogue be perfectly honest. I havent found any places that let me stand somewhere im not supposed to be but im not looking for those places ;P

    I'm not ALWAYS mid, i just think a rogue is pretty worthless against a kiting FC until stacks. UNtil then i can go mid or be on D. I usually choose mid unless D needs help. You can't even use it indoors so the only real place to use it is mid.
