Yesterday we had the Bonescythe boots, which went for a little over 10k. Looks like people will mostly bid on the most iconic items (head and shoulders).
I kinda want Dreadnaught for my Paladin. Don't really have lots of gold, tho.

Sorry to hear that. I guess the only way is luck (and have tons of gold to be able to keep bidding without moving).
Today we have druid belt, hunter bracers and mage boots.

i don't think it's worth buying right now unless you are on a remote server where you can get them for 10k a pop.

shelling out 300k for a single piece on a twink in a dead bracket for a tiny upgrade (let's be honest, the real kick of T3 is the set bonuses, not the stats) is just ridiculously stupid.

As far as I know, any bid adds 5 min to the duration. So precisely you can't bid at the "last second" to win.
@glancealot Helms are not upgrades they are setting you back (even with the bonus, well at least for rogues, dunno all sets. The war set is a tanking set anyway) Most pieces go for 10k ish so far, maybe this will change when people are back from their vacation in China. But it won't go much higher for most parts.

Ditto. Dreadnaught Shoulders were up on my realm few days ago, highest bid was 20k till a few hours to go. Unfortunately I could not camp it till the auction ended, so I just bid 25k on the offchance and hoped for the best.

Logged in next day and had got outbidded. Ho-hum maybe next time.
