OPINIONS - F2P healers on this new patch

Im not looking for a "OP" healer class.

Im just curious to which healer class may have more abilities to be a CC or even the abilities to just simply stand still and heal, im looking simply for anyone's view on the healers and which can be more fun to play or be a great help to the team and also a healer that can solo whilst having fun doing so.

I no at the moment Healers are OP, but i play currently a HPal and it just gets boring but i want to stay a healer becuase i enjoy keeping people alive and i have been a Hpal since the start of my F2P journey.

Would i find it more enjoyable riptiding then into wolf farm and kite or Rejuv, travel and kite i dunno, can anyone shed some light on the situation?

Or would i even like to be a balance druid with some sort of healing ability or is that not possible to do, i dunno thats why i have come to ask the F2P community and i appreciate any sort of information.

Thanks Much Appreciated :)

Resto druid is definitely a lot of fun, but their best utility is against melee via roots and kiting. With current OP heals I prefer healing on a priest or shaman (unless I plan on FCing), because their CC/utility is a better counter to other healers. With little room for error against healers, Purge, Wind Shear, Fear, Mind Control, and burst damage from Penance are the difference between a flag return and a full health EFC.

You really can't go wrong with any of the three through. The good thing about f2p is that you can make new characters relatively quickly to try out. I'd definitely recommend trying them out for yourself.

You already have a healer - try something different if you want a challenge/change of pace.

all 3 class, Druid, Shaman and Priest have their pros and cons

R Druid are mobile healers, they can cover alot of area quickly,
travel form useable out door(40%) while cat form got 25% speed use indoor.
they can heal multipal target by spam hot, a stealth to avoid unnessary combat. a root to keep efc or enemy healer stationary.
their 1st tier talent are all 3 about increace travel speed.
but no dispell.

i got little info about priest, priest got a bubble, 30sec Psychic Scream.
their 1st tier are all CC,
Discpline got Penance, while holy got Holy Word: Chastise(a 3 sec stun).
but no dispel; lost fort, hot, and others
a extra CC aoe spell lock for BE; aoe stun for tauren.

R Shaman a mix of both druid and priest(i think)
ghost wolf(30% speed) give us some indoor/outdoor travel form
riptide is a instance cast small heal + hot.
a spamable offence dispel purge, i spam purge to counter druid hots. and a 8sec defence dispel.
usually spam healing surge and riptide for healing
shaman heal can increace target total health for Max 10% total health for 15sec.
1st tier talent are about defensive buff,
Wind Shear as only CC 3sec spell lock.
(unless roll tauren stun racial and eng stun bomb)

there quite alot of fun combo for these class/race.
won't go wrong with druids or shaman, not sure about priest.
if you got bored about healing, you can go range dps with all these,
Boomkin can deal alot of damages if i'm not wrong, Spriest only powerful in 24. Ele shaman thunderstorm+lumbermill.
still can dps support + heal nicely
then you just need to worry about spell hit.
check wowhead and official talent calculator for spell detail.

Overall: Blanket adjustment to mana regeneration rate. Should be slowed a lot. Shamans are the only class that should have such good mana regeneration and longevity, followed by paladins who can use holy power and avoid spending mana.

Holy Paladins: I think they're OP, they shouldn't be such mobile healers. Holy Shock should be reduced to only having a 30% chance of generating holy power. Bubble should be killed by purge/dispel.

Druids: Rejuvenation should cost 4x as much, and use up mana quickly combined with the blanket nerf to mana regen. HOWEVER, Feral Combat druids should get a passive like the enhancement shaman's Mental Quickness, reducing the cost of instant-cast spells by 75%, keeping rejuvenation the same for them.

Shamans: Shouldn't be nerfed, outside the blanket mana regeneration nerf. On the other hand, all shamans should get riptide at lvl 15, and Resto shamans should get earth shield at 10. The blanket nerf to mana regeneration should be enough that a shaman can't spam Healing Surge, not even with Water Shield, but they can spam healing wave with water shield and stay fairly even. Elemental should get Chain Lightning to replace Lightning Bolt automatically, and Thunderstorm should use lightning shield charges for more damage. Should get water walking at 16. I'm not biased.

Priests: All tier 1 talents should be on a 2 minute cooldown. Penance needs 2 more seconds on cooldown. Psy Fiend should only have 5 hp.

I healed for 167k in a single AB, in a fight at ST which just never ended. Had some good melee friends covering me, preventing enemies from locking me out when casting Regrowth. Combine that with the mobility Feline Swiftness grants, it was pretty overpowered. I should have run out of mana after 2 minutes at the very latest, probably earlier.

That all said, it was alot of fun. Not as fun as lolyshock crits, but still pretty fun.

I have to say, my disc priest is very much OP with having two different fears on two different cooldowns now. Psyfiend is a huge blessing. Now I can fear while I fear, so I can heal while I heal.yo dawg.

you can make priests useless in a matter of seconds on your shammy. So if priests are OP as you say and you beat priests, does that mean you are super OP?
P.S. 2 fears share dr. And on another note, even if Blizzard will make psyfiend with 5 hp, i can easily shield him for 1k, so ....

You still can't deny that Disc priests are the most overpowered class currently.

Discs are as strong as the rest of the healers. At least try to be objective a bit

Penance is strong but not game breaking. And Dps is not supposed to be able to kill a healer 1 vs 1. Deal with it
Ppl need to start to learn using ccs/cooldowns/positioning to counter healers.

Exactly.
Back in Cata, I couldn't 1vs1 a skilled priest unless he had CD on trinket (even then it kinda depended on crits) even though ret pallies were OP back then.
I remember whenever I saw Deadlyturtle in BG I knew I'll chase him all over map prob not killing him solo :D
Now ret's hitting like a wet noodle in preMoP is completely a different story...

So why should Disc priests be able to solo 2-3 DPS? More healers= less people dying= boredom and less honor.
On my undergeared disc priest, I was able to pretty much kill any dps who stood in my way. A healer in pvp is supposed to be able to be very good at healer but do little to no damage. Disc priests survive AND do insane damage to people. It will probally be fixed soon
