Hpal Hotfix

Hunters who magically lost their skill with mop, then magically regained it with holy pallys are going to be so confused tonight. :p
 
I think healing is balanced, people just don't CC healers. I was in a game with 3 rogues earlier, Not a single kick. No on was interrupting healers.


Super mega stoked for this though.

definitly agree that holy pals fix is gunna help the bracket alot... Disc priests still hit like trucks and resto is still almost unstoppable...

But theres not enough CC i can honestly sit there on my rdruid and spam heal...

My only fear is sadly hunts even with their low dmg in a 2v1 they have rlly good CC (intimidation+Scatter) put that with a warrior burst and i have to run :)
 
Are priests and druids fixed yet?
 
Everyone sounds so stupid right now. The patch balanced a ton of stuff in this bracket and all anyone knows how to do is complain every time something is fixed that something else is still broken. One fix at a time, Blizzard needs to take baby steps, remember?

Some of us have been spoiled by balanced and skill-based pvp.

Personally, I would like to play a similarly balanced WoW; I've spent so much time and put so much effort into many of my characters. It's difficult to go back when you've seen how green the other lawn's grass is, though.

Quest info: Fix all the majorly overpowered classes/mechanics/items/buffs.

Holy Paladins fixed 1/1
Player Versus Player healing fixed 0/1
Death Knight output fixed 0/1

This doesn't actually change the fact that holy pallies were overpowered, now no one can kill them. Not even other holy paladins. Now they have more reason to spam HS for healing on cooldown for the run speed and 1k healing.

You've gone from holy pallies on both sides killing people to 25 minute 0/0 flag caps where no one can kill each other except for in mid, where there are probably going to be more holy pallies healing people due to the recent influx.

Its highly unlikely that most of rerollers will stay holy.
Most of ppl like nuking others, not healing.
number of hpallys will rapidly drop in 5-6 days, just give it some time and you'll see.

However I agree on the part of 25min games that finish with either zero or 1 flags capped.
As I said in my last post, 2 holly pallies and resto druid (with 10 stacks) stayed alive vs 2 dps and hpally for like 10 minutes.
If other team caps, get another flag and turtle, atm there is no way you'll EVER kill efc.

I have to say, with holy shock spam (even though it was terribly annoying), you could kill efc with some stacks.
now, there is no way to do it since noone can deliver so much dps (with healing being as is).

conclusion - fix healing. its incredibly OP atm.
A druid can hot himself and run midfield with 2 person on him with no problem (not to mention that he needs like 3 sec to run all field with 105% running speed).
Priests, hpallys are also unkillable, you need at least 3 ppl to take down 1 healer.

Completely true. Even after the fix I played a BG where I pretty easily 1 vs. 2 a 20 and a 24 hunter in mid (not even using bublle or LoH) and had top damage output and top healing, several returns and a cap... I'm not saying the opponents were good in that one but still.
 
Lower player damage and player healing with resi. Not just damage but healing aswell. OH DAMN I FIXED WOW PVP.

Working as intended IMO. 3 healers should be very difficult to take down, you wont be breaking a turtle like that very often with 2 DPS. 10 stacks shouldn't mean instant return, you still need well coordinated CC and focused burst damage to take out turtling heals. The problem was when those 2 holy pallies could global people while they stayed alive forever. It actually takes strong play to get important kills now. CC needs to be timed as kills are happening, not to set them up beforehand.

Most people aren't going to FotM roll healers, they don't want to just stay alive and not kill anything. With holy shock nerfed, we're already only seeing 2-3 heals per side. The changes are a big adjustment and can be frustrating when you can't really do anything alone as pure DPS anymore. On my mage before, I could burst a target down inside a polymorph on a healer. Now I need to set up damage, wait for heals to fall behind a bit and start CCing when the target is getting low.

CC and burst used to be good enough, now you need well timed CC and burst. That's a positive change in my eyes.
 
lol... people are so used to OP dps that they forgot healers are suppose to stay alive...
 

ohh indeed they are! i made a worgen arms warrior on monday, hes pretty much preBoA BiS, and its the most fun ive had in a long time.
i use the 12 sec CD on charge talent(sorry i forgot its name) and that with darkflight allows me to dash all around in battle switching targets and keeping my rage up with all the charging, the damage could be a little better(a little rage starved in 1v1 situations) but overall its an effective and fun class that operates very well with others. teamwork seems to be a lot more necessary in MoP and i think warriors add alot to a group, however they still require a few heals now and then, and with a pocket healer are unstopable.
