WTT: good community, premades, dungeons, duels, events and arenas 24/7 for AGM

I am perfectly fine on daggerspine. Most of my xbox live friends play there, not to mention it was a great server before tbc, really started to fall apart during wotlk. We do a lot of things, raid very high lvl bosses on our f2p's, sometimes my friend gets on his p2p, well....we do a lot of stuff, but most of it is old now......there arent many dungeons a f2p can do either, we form our own premades, and once i figure out how to get my multiboxing in check(so far it seems to break on certain actions, like they dont jump together but shoot together, etc), we will be one great community at daggerspine. And 24 stam is srs beeswax +1000 dmg absorbtion

I am fairly new to F2P and don't really know how many twinks there's at Daggerspine, but judging by your description it seems to be somewhat populated. Aside from that, everything you mentioned could be done on AP, with a community probably 100x bigger. It's not like you and your xbox-live friends couldn't hang out on AP just because there's so much other people :>

edit: @ginger OH SNAP someone have this thread put in AH-section :D

it depends..dspine used to be dead(i and a couple of my buddies were ''teh sole twinks on there''

ever since blizz did a forced server transfer on there a bunch of f2p people started showing up..so i took matters into my hands...added them all to friend list and i did a couple of premades with them...but i find it boring and im not the organizer type guy( i go buff them all with fortitude/kings before we go premade..and half of them either leave or die and lose the buff....its like this is how i think when i go premade and have to direct them..ill take my favorite wow quote '' Why must I be surrounded by incompetence? Oh well, perhaps some of my underling may eventually grow a brain.''

i sometimes help people get their AGM/burgy hat on there but thats about it...
There is only like 10 of us though...but we do all kinds of stupid s*it on there from taking down lvl 80+ mobs and doing SM to dueling, etc

Same goes for you!

As always sometimes things get irritating. Certain days, the chat makes me want to kill myself, getting AGM makes me want to xfer to a dead server. Idk, just little things. Of course Im not going to leave, but it can become irritating occasionally. I love AP though.

Basically its like a girlfriend/boyfriend. You love them, but sometimes your just like "WTF is GOING ON"

^

Is this how you all at low-populated servers are reasoning -- 12 stamina at the cost of a good community, premades, dungeons, premades, duels, events and arenas? Sound to me like a really bad deal.

People want to be bis, its that simple and it aint happening at AP because some douchebags there from this community are deciding who is going to get trinkets out of the chest and on top of that they will go for a 2nd too. Good community aint it?

Atleast we at the start fought for it between 20s. Even the most common 85s comming to guru agreed with this and just helped us having our fun instead grouping with us and kill every other 20 who jumps into guru.

I see what you mean :)

There's always a few bad apples, and besides from the "we decide who'll get AGM"-part there isn't much downsides in the community.

Though the people from *INSERT RANDOM DEAD SERVER* roll with double AGM on ALL classes and doesn't really stick to what's BiS either, but sure I'll accept that as a legit reason.

think im in some variation of my balance set right now but as a resto fc i really really like my double agm . and if i were on ap that simply wouldn't happen.
yes the comunity on ap is nice ( i have a shammy there) but we have a few well geared ppl on bwl that i do junk with and one or 2 p2ps so yeah we dont arena constantly but i really dont care too much . im a fc(cant really fc in arena lol)

No, not a few. If you say that you are not having alot experience in life and wow. People are selfish and egoistic and in this game when it comes to items even more. It can make a very nice person in a major douchebag.

I could mention alot downside on AP, i was the first there and seen alot, but i wont. If im even there now im not having chat enabled for example wich started pretty cool at the start but i cant stand it now. But thats just me i guess.

Well, everything mentioned by you will be experienced in all kinds of communitys; even in real life. You can't just move to a cabin and live all alone for the rest of your life (practically you could but I don't think anyone would enjoy it in the long run). But being a part of a community doesn't necessarily mean that you need to interact with everyone -- I barely ever write in the F2P-chat in-game, only when I want to find a group for premades or dungeons. You can be part of the community and only pick out the good parts, then just try and ignore everything that you don't want anything to do with.

I don't care for AGM and never have but I will agree with Pouch and Harley, it's nice to be away from AP (Horde and/or Ally) once in a while...

Hence why I played Jimmy just to stay away from AP Horde for a bit because the chat/"new people" were destroying it for me... not to mention a few of the oldtimers/veterans had moved onto other things.

The AP experience that I enjoyed back when we had DMF events, party @ Gallywix's palace is long gone.... I don't even know how to describe it now but whenever I logon it feels like a negative experience over all, and a lot of my fellow oldtimers agree too which just makes it more depressing.

Need a new video idea, maybe bring back some of that fun.

To many new people come in thinking they are hot shit and know it all, thinking they will now run AP.

Was told by some new person I had to take a friend of theirs off my P2Ps ignore list cuse he needed to group on me, added one more to my list.

But yes theres tons of great people on AP, thats why I play there.

I don't like most of the people on AP anymore, but I stay for the few friends of mine that are still there.

I tried going to Alliance in the hope everything was better. It is. Its more quiet and thus less bullshit to read.
