join the F2P arena community, stop paying activision for this shitty game, do arenas all day for free. i'm half embarrassed, half sympathetic to see that i actually recognize several of the people in this thread.....and they're actually still playing 19s....

hey man, if i was actually still playing 19s in the year 2012, i'd expect others to treat me in a condescending manner too. it's honestly pretty absurd that anybody still pays for this game at all, much less does 19 twinking. i don't really know what else to say. sorry

20-24 is hardly any better than 19s. Don't bring that into this thread, please. It's almost like me going to the F2P or 24's section telling you guys to come to 19's.
 
we don't play 20-24 - we play F2P arenas. i agree with you, the 20-24 bracket is horrible, and i wouldn't want to play in it either. it's probably even worse than 19s.

and it's hard for me to feel bad "bringing that into this thread" when this thread is some random kid whining about how bad 19s sucks. wouldn't this kind of constructive posting, looking for a solution, be exactly the appropriate kind of response here?

We do arenas at 19s just fine, thanks. Without being gimped, at that. And as far as "random kid" goes, you're the random kid here. Browntown is known well enough in this bracket (positive or negative), whereas we're left wondering who YOU are.

most people do not P2P just for 19's. as players roll and reroll characters they end up with left over BOA gear. building twinks due to BOAs is pretty much instant

twinking at 19, and 70 is imo, never gonna die, unless blizz chooses to kill it and all brackets of BG twinking. despite what they say, their actions show they support twinking.

as for still paying to play WOW past 20, blizz imo, is gonna see what MOP does and possibly adjust sometime after. they have made comments to that effect after questioning on the F2P program.

WOW is old to some, but still new compared to other MMO's...yes. people still play MMO's that are older that have hit as high as 15 years old and some that have gone thru like 13 expansions. UO, RS, EQ to name 3. and GW btw is about the same age as WOW, months separate them.

i see people paying to play WOW for along time, just as other games, many will not be able to walk away from their level-100's with 300 mounts, 20000 achieves, and 101 titles

The day that F2P has any appeal over an account that I have paid for, is the day that I quit Wow altogether. I'm not going to even begin to try and justify playing a version of the game that's strictly worse than the one I currently enjoy, simply to try and save a trivial amount of money.

Also, Blizzard is not Activision. They are two separate companies in practice with their own leadership and design philosophies. What one company does, has absolutely nothing to do with the other.
