Advice on new druid

Legend
So I just rolled a tauren druid, and got it to level 10, but I'm unsure of which spec to use. At the moment, I mainly battleground, but I'm looking to go into arenas more and more until i do them more than BG's. So if anyone has any advice about which spec is more useful to your team in arena, that's be great.
Thanks in advance :)

Here is some video of what a resto druid is capable of

P.S. just to be clear, imo Cer is better FC ofc!
Especially when we practise jumps :)

Better play resto/FC because you need to learn how to play FC and how to heal as druid in BGs, also get gear for resto/balance, feral gear is decent from dungeon/quests and you can use SoJ in any spec. In arenas ppl love druids more as ferals, because for resto its difficult to outheal good bursts. Also not simple to play as balance and not all know how to . As resto in arena you really need to be perfect at LoS healing (I need to laern this still T_T) and powershift (that you'll learn playing as FC).

Go with whatever you want. Feral is almost a completely different playstyle to Balance/Resto so its hard to even compare the two. They all have relatively high skill caps so you're better off choosing whichever you enjoy more. Its really not hard to switch over to another if you change your mind. Also, if you do go Resto/Balance make sure you take the Signet of Argas (or w.e the agil one is) and just use Stillwater's and Garrosh's instead. That way you won't be missing out on any key gear if you switch to feral.

I would not suggest resto unless you are going to try and be an fc, if that is the case gl. Lately i have been seeing a lot of balance druids and they seem to be doing alright. Ferals of course are pretty good and are looking to be even better with mop around the corner. Resto druids heals are very terrible at the moment so i would not suggest that, but in the end try all 3 out and see which one is best to you

Thanks for the responses guys. But i'm also looking to keep this character right into MoP, and I notice that balance gets moonkin form, how powerful is this? Also, I've seen loads of great druids go resto (cer, dubbs etc.) So it can't be all that underpowered can it?

Ole does fine with healing as resto, so if you know how to play it's not underpowered. It has weaker heals for sure, but its a very active healer.

Balance gets moonkin form.

Resto gets exclusive use of a new, improved Regrowth.

Feral gets Savage roar (30% dps buff).

I've always preferred feral because it feels like i have more role versatility

Yeah, I was going to say - resto is a very viable healer - especially if you have another healer or off healer. They just can't heal a single target through a lot of burst. But swiftmend... <3

In terms of picking a spec - I'd decide if you want to do melee or caster as a first point. Switching between resto and balance is very easy to do.

(resto is my favorite :p)

I just rolled a balance druid, so now I have both feral and well balance. Balance is a totally new expirence for me, and I am having tons of fun with it, but my first bg lastnight was a new "expirence" for me. Balance has a high skill cap but it is fun. Feral is totally fun too. I would do feral first to learn the ins and outs of druids then you can also get a balance/resto set so you can switch back and forth.

Sound advice guys, thanks :D I'm gonna level to 20 with feral, stay like that for a while, then try out resto and balance before choosing which i prefer.

play feral if you want to be like me >: ) lol
but honestly i dont think druids are really fun or interesting in arenas. (1v1 as a feral is so fun but not in arenas imo)
resto is very fun but its the worst healing spec in this bracket as a healer (1v1 as resto is fun but its pretty hard to do better healing than hpal or priests)
i would say play balance because its really fun in arenas

and i think i can agree that feral is easier to play than resto/bal (my druid is resto now for fun)
