Thirk's GM exploits strike again! Spectral Wind Rider on F2P!

I also had that Mr Chilly + Warbot mailed to Swagpurse when I first rolled the toon. But I was a wee noob F2P back then, and they've long since disappeared from my mail :'(

Wonder if it's worth talking to a GM to bring them back or if it's even possible to restore that..... :/
 
A RaF rocket should be doable using the same method. I tried getting my rocket, but I didn't use the accidently sent to the wrong character idea. I was simply straight up, and was told to buy the game. This was a mistake. In your case, the first thing they say is that they can help you, which is exactly what you want. That puts them in the right frame of mind. If they start off with telling you to buy the game, you're in a losing battle.

WTB first F2P with a rocket. Use your GM bamboozling skills for that one. It will also give you the 25 mounts achieve, assuming you're too lazy to fish up a turtle.

I just remembered I still have an unredeemed rocket on my account.

While I could get it on my F2P, I'm not sure I'd be willing to sacrifice an actually useful mount (2-seater flying) on my F2P. If I change my mind I'll report back, and will of course be trying it.
 
I think, Thirk, that going over the line everytime, will get you banned someday from wow. It's nothing personal but you try alot things wich are against the rules (they have logs ya know) and making others try doing the same by posting here on TI. There has happened alot of these things in the past for example the swapping quest rewards and gets way to much attention. I just don't think it's such a good idea to post stuff like this and that here on TI. But then again TI got weird rules about things like this, you can't post the well known macro because people use it to exploit xp locking and beeing an oldschool twink but they can put things like you do on this forums.. it just not feels good.
 
if it has been accepted by a gm, i don't think he can get any trouble from it.

you can't really hide those kind of things or keep it secret, people will inspect you (there is no way to block this on wow, plus you have the armory) and after a moment they will find it themselves.
 
I was trying to get the Eyepatch on my F2P, and after about 10 tickets I'm surprised I ended up without any bans. I hacked to get the quest, and a GM decided to look into my account. He removed the Spectral Rider and told me to cut the shit. I don't intend to. Will report back when I try to faction change my free to play. If I get banned on my F2P, the exploits will have been worth it.

The fact that you had this Alliance-exclusive quest seemed peculiar, so I investigated a bit further, and I found evidence suggesting you obtained that quest via illegitimate means. This quest is intended for Alliance players only, which explains why you were unable to see the turn-in NPC. As such, I've removed the quest from your log.

Please understand that we take attempts to defraud the Game Master department very seriously. We know that many players enjoy twinking level 20s on Starter Edition accounts, and for that reason we want to ensure that all characters who participate are given equal opportunities. Attempting to deceive GMs into giving you this quest reward which you would not normally have access to very much goes against the spirit of the game, and any similar attempts in the future may return in account suspension or closure.

Additionally, I see a Game Master recently gave you a Spectral Wind Rider on this account. As a trial account would not normally have access to this sort of reward, I have removed it from your character and mailed it to the character who originally redeemed it, Thirk of Spinebreaker. These rewards are not intended to be distributed freely through the Battle.net account, and only qualify to be claimed on full-level accounts that participated directly in this program, so I've reassigned that mount to ensure it is in-line with these rules.

Finally, I've observed that you use the word 'stuck' in most of your ticket. As you're likely aware, we prioritize tickets from players that find themselves unable to play the game due to more severe, gamebreaking issues such as login difficulties or character movement problems in order to get them back into the game as quickly as possible. Using specific keywords to bypass the normal ticket queue is viewed as an affront towards those customers who have waited patiently, and such behavior is not tolerated. Continued use of the word 'stuck' in your tickets may also result in account suspension or closure.

I hope that this information is of use to you. Above all, we want to ensure that we are being as fair as possible to all players in-game, and any behavior that works opposite that goal will be addressed in whichever way we feel is most appropriate. I encourage you to take all of this into consideration, and avoid any activities that might put you in danger of facing actions against your account. I also hacked to get the Brew of the Month club like 2 weeks ago. Surprised, he didn't even mention it, much less remove it or warn me for it.

This was a year ago and I'm still using the stuck thing.
Never been called on it again.
 
The gm should get a title, endaraal, thirks bane.
