Now... it's some time ago since I last used it (back in summer) but I checked my programms through, and am pretty sure I used the editing software called VirtualDub (a free video editing software) to compress the files.. (edited with Sony Vegas pro 10, but compressed with virtualDub)
A guide can be found here: How To Compress A Video File with Virtualdub
and for virtualDub just type "download Virtual dub" on google and several options should pop up.
I do beleive I encountered a problem with Sony Vegas pro 10 not able to open the compressed files.. So if you plan on using a editing program not able to open the files.. a converting programm will also be needed. The one I used only had 14 days free trial, but it shouldn't be to much of a prob to find one on google.
Then just throw them in Dropbox since the files whent from something like 1GB = 100mb.
Prolly some of all the geeks/nerds here who know a smarter/faster way btw^^
