There's a guy on youtube who was destroying cataclysm 5man bosses with 5 arcane mages. The concept is the same, just scaled up.

oooooh. yea thats pretty coo, but for some reason i was expecting to see 5 80 mages soloing cata stuff, and maybe even LK (not that LK dungeons are hard)

and still, as neat as that is to watch...icc would not be happening imo - tho id love to see a video being proven wrong

Well, admittedly it's 85s, but they are doing (mostly) 85 content, so I can imagine with mastery scaling (where 80 mages do similar levels of DPS to 85 mages, certainly in ICC), you might find it possible, but ofc you have to find 25 BiS geared level 80 twink arcane mages on the same realm (for now), which is certainly no easy feat.
