interesting...I'm curious to this:



1) I assumed that anything with an xmog on it would be exempt...it would be difficult for them to tell which is which unless the were to destroy all BoA, even on higher levels, xmogs and make ppl start over. I understand lvl restrictions on armor, but that seems to be more effort than blizz would be willing to code into a fix



2) I assumed this would happen live after a maintenance period, but US servers could still do this as late as 3am PST time last night.



3) I logged in just now and One still has hers



4) Is it possible that someone put a ticket in on you? Or has anyone else in EU experienced this?
 
Oh well - it was fun while it lasted. I was in the process of collecting the assassination leather set but didn't quite get there. Luckily I did manage to grab a few screenshot from the log-in screen today, before logging in and having the transmogs disappear.

Edit: In answer to Chubs questions above: all my transmogs did get lost when I logged in (I'm on Hellfire-EU), and other people were complaining in trade about the same.
 
why the hell do i keep playing this game.....
 
Bah. The xmogs still appear on the character-selection pane until you log in.



Can't believe Blizz felt they needed to spend the resources to change these.

hmm its kidda weird if you got the items in your bag and can use it it works if you use it on heirlooms and send it its gone :p

bah they always nerf level 1s hopefull they dont make achievements and titles one day req level 10 or something lol :x they fix alot so maby they will one day
 
I spent close to 20 hours farming....tons of JP on extra BoA sets....and close to 35k on rare BoEs, Helms, enchants, and xmogs ... I'm a little steamed atm



However, one of the helms I did still kept its transmog ... even after logging in and out several times. Wonder how long till that goes to?
 
Although xmogging was fun, I always liked BoA better, seems theres something in the simplicity about it. Maybe its the fact that normal BoA sticks out more, maybe it's what im used to seeing on level 1 twinks. Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders <3

This bothered me for a bit as of why .. and while I was napping (yeah, I take one everyday...wanna fight about it?), I woke up and it came to me: QUEST REWARDS! There's no level requirement on most of them, that's why you keep it. Unfortunately, BoAs are stripped now in the mail, so you can't do it anymore, but if you xmog'd your gear with quest rewards, you should have been able to keep it.



I had lvl'd a priest (only 67...to lvl 80) and bought a Battered Hilt (for 6k) to do http://www.wowhead.com/item=50051 ... woulda been cool ... oh well, I still have my eyepatch!
 
Glad you got to keep the eyepatch, Chubs. I went through all the alts and all ~20 BoAs were stripped of the transmogs. The one quest reward I used was the lvl 60 bow Rok'delar and sadly it has a level requirement so it was stripped too. My mage used the BoA archaeology robe as a transmog model and it lost that as well.
