transmogs gone :(

Not positive but this could be due to people complain on blizz forums about people at 85 mogging their gear into crap gear making it hard to determine how good your enemy team is in arena and RBG

Or you could be bugged out

this would be a very nice implementation, but it would have to go back when you leave lol :/

How would that be a nice change?

Why do you need to be able to tell how strong someone is in a battleground through the look of their gear?

How is that fun?

... i... shouldn't have to answer that?

if you need to pretend that you have bad gear to succeed in a bg... um. yea

Well I suppose we're kind of used to being able to see someone and almost immediately know how much of a threat they are based on what we see. It'll just take some practice for people to become accustomed to not trusting their eyes, and the "nice change" would mean no one has to adjust
<

I'd be in favor of mogging staying in place of course because where else will people show off their neat sets? My gear isn't very matched up but I did make my hat a goggles, and am very much enjoying the look. It's also fun to see the results from people who have put effort into the cosmetics of their character.

Edit: at any rate it sounds like a bug
<
hope it fixes.

Hmm, well imo everyone in a battleground should be equally geared, so the look of gear shouldn't matter. ie. people should choose their targets based on class and spec, not based on whether the enemy has less gear or not.

Plus I'm really loving the look of my f2p's, and would hate to have to give that up in battlegrounds and arena's just so that people can judge how strong I am based on my look.

It most likely isn't a bug, I'm assuming that you lost your xmogs on heirloom gear from your main?

This is just a stupid hot fix that is benefiting nobody because mailing mogged items was a bug to begin with
<

transmorgs done by your own F2P players are not gone.

P2P's if your main used items that say "required level ##" to transmorg BOAs, upon entering a BG they are reverted/stripped because they are above the level of your player

if your main obtained and used quest items to transmog BOAs, they are not being removed. those items show no level requirement

a level 85 mage is transmorging his 85 gear to look like a 19 twink? so is blizzard's fix gonna stop this? i think not either

a player has a 85 mage....with killer gear, he is able to transmorg it to a boa helm, chest/gown, shoulder, staff and send it to say....a 85 priest. the 85 priest would appear killer geared but in BOA gear to confuse players? so blizzard's new fix in reguards to 85's doing such things, would do nothing since the 85 is wearing items transmorged form level 85 gear

what i can see them doing or maybe what they should do is block transmorg appears in arenas/RBGs specificly without them totally be removed.

blizz stopped and nerfed the hordes dingy wizard hat that used to change your race and then later stopped allowing the necklace to work in arenas too

Confirmed my xmog gear is back to normal when I enter WSG. Grats blizz I have no reason to pay.

I have read the topics about loosing transmogs with some interest. I understand most of what I read and from what I understand people have been loosing transmogs from Boa items that have been mogged on their higher level chars and then still only the ones that are not quest gear.

If I read your post correctly you play f2p but are loosing your mogged gear upon entering a bg. You can't use the mail on a f2p as I understand so your toon must have atained the gear you used to mog. Am I correct in this assumption?

If so this would mean some people (well just you as far as I can note for now) are loosing mogs they did on toons that atained the gear themselves. (I can not play my account right now so can't check myself, hence the question)

<edit>Thankyou for clarifying Shanker (see post beneath).

they are P2P 20....that play as if they are F2P and that is why they lost some of their transmogs done by their mains

a F2P won't have this issue and a F2P doesn't consider to quit paying to play......they just quit

To everyone that responded to my post.

This isn't my opinion this is information I pulled directly from the forums. HIGHER LEVEL players were complaining about it in arenas and RBGs.

However Shanker is probably along the right path as far as the correct answer ^.^

To be fair, I would assume that most Arena teams that are seriously competing are just looking at class comps of opponents and then applying a specific strat, opponents' gear doesn't change the strat.

My guess is that it's the casual Arena teams that would be complaining, and seeing as there are far more causal PVP'rs out there the QQ will echo till the end of time.

no you are incorrect im a P2P but i follow F2P standards, also as i stated in my post i was on an alt....whatever the reasonong behind it (or lack of) its total bs and it just pushes closer to F2P only. smooth move blizz, way to go.
